「Lovely place. Very clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The on-site restaurants are both fantastic and you got a free drink in the on-site restaurant if you booked a meal and in the apartment you got complimentary crumpets butter and milk which was very helpful」

「Stayed the 3rd time and got was clean, comfy & had all we needed for a 2 night break with our dog. Matt always at hand on the farm and really friendly and welcoming. Thank you for another lovely stay! 」

「A well situated lovely apartment. Initially we struggled to gain entry my fault I’d had instructions since January and did not realise. Loads of gadgets if you’re technical. Water for showers was lovely and hot. We had no issues with noise. Parking was opposite £21 for 3 days but knowing the area we parked on a road 5 mins away. 」

「Unfortunately our booked apartment accommodation was unavailable due to a gas leak. However, we were moved to a nice double room and given free breakfast to make up for this. We were also offered 50 % of dinner but the available dining slots were extremely limited so couldn't use that. It was a very comfy hotel, with a great shower, a pleasant mile walk to Keswick. I'd definitely stay again」

「Amazing property . Loved the carved wood ceilings and wood panelled walls not to mention the secret door. Never seen so many books outside a library. unfortunately didn’t stay long enough to read any. Also a vast selection of DVDs. The communal lounge was magnificent, we didn’t use it but were very impressed. The rest of our accommodation housed everything we needed and was clean and functional. The bathroom maybe needed updating but maybe I am nit picking, plenty of hot water and at a good...

「We hired the bunkhouse for two nights of birthday celebrations and walking. Great location with stunning walks right outside the door. Wainwright’s Inn is a few steps away, as is the co-op with its little cafe upstairs. I hope to make our stay an annual event. Highly recommended!」

"The location is great and nearby the ferry pier. But the hotel is not in good maintenance at room, the toilet ceiling have a lot of dirty water marks, it looked disgusting. I booked a lakeview room that cost £250 a night, but not worth it, the room is really dilapidated, even they don't have a refrigerator at room, I needed to keep my birthday cake in their restaurant. The room price wss including the breakfast but it was lack of choice, they serve breakfast until 10:30 am, when I ordered scrambling egg with smoked salmon toast, they said no more but I saw other customers have it, I thought smoked salmon and egg are very common foods in a hotel restaurant, I wondered why they can tell me no more stocks. I just can say this hotel not worth for money, they are overpriced. Staffs are not really friendly. "
