「Great location in the middle of Ambleside and the bonus of a car parking space was a real benefit ( parking in the Lake District is expensive)」

「Great location and great, safe private parking spot. Cottage is clean, spacious and cosy. Cottage is a little old fashioned, and needs a bit of TLC but the basics are all there and some nice touches- milk in fridge, bread, butter, eggs, tea coffee etc supplied. Would stay again as reasonably priced for what it is.」

「Beautiful central little cottage which has everything you could possibly need. Exceptionally clean and the most comfortable bed. Pet friendly with extra throws for the furniture. Lovely little touches like chocolates, milk, tea and fruit on arrival. Fresh flowers too. Easy walk into town and good roads to surrounding areas.」

「Excellent location. Overall I recommend the accommodation. I major issue: the showers in two of the rooms did not have hot water. When I attempted to contact the owner, via message app, I did not receive any response. We had 3 couples in the house, we ended up all having to use one shower. Note that shower was a handheld shower in a bath tub with no shower curtain. This resulted in water every way. Additionally the dryer stopped working, it took us a while and some googling to determine there...

「Overall we had a lovely time in Ambleside, the house itself was a bit grubby could do with a thorough clean, it said onsite parking on Expedia there is no parking it wasn’t a problem we parked in the village and paid £8 a day but shouldn’t be wrongly advertised, we tried to contact the property owners a couple of times about parking and the rubbish collection but still waiting for a reply, it is a lovely little house in a good location.」

「Clean and fully equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds and accommodation. Perfect location for hiking and ambling into town. Special views from the apartment. Decor a little dated, power shower excellent but cubicle small. Missed having a washing machine for sports gear. Would book again as Ambleside and the Lakes are wonderful. 」

「Apartment was really nice, roomy and comfortable, ideal for two couples. I wouldn't recommend it for families with kids due to proximity to a bar and noise in the evening. Only other niggle was that while the apartment was well kitted out in general, we had to go out and buy hand wash and toilet roll. Not ideal if arriving late and those are expected provisions in my mind. Overall though, I would recommend as handy central location and it was in good condition. View from the living room was...

「Excellent location with a beautiful view from the property. Stayed very cool inside during a heatwave (but could be cold if not so hot outside!). The apartment itself has a good space and a full kitchen. However, there is quite a lot of clutter and lots of unnecessary electronic devices (such as multiple sky boxes, Alexas, wifis, entertainment systems etc). The apartment was clean enough but generally could do with a bit of updating and a clear out of the cupboards, under the bed etc. There is...

「Overall great place to stay-clean, comfortable and great location. One complaint-nothing was stocked like other homes/apartments we have stayed. We had to buy garbage bags, soap, salt and pepper, even toilet paper, etc. morning was stocked. Amazing amount of dishes/cookware in the kitchen, but that was it. I wish we would have known, we could have packed some of this from home. Other than that, good stay!」
