「Perfect for a last minute overnight stay in the lakes. Picked as it was the ideal location to the walk we planned. Room was small, but was perfect for what we needed. Very clean, all the required facilities, and the staff were amazing. Breakfast was also delicious. 」

Every interaction was easy and kind, the house was incredibly well kept, and the grounds were gorgeous. It's located a bit out of the way which is perfect for minimizing crowds and noise! Our room was perfectly sized and the bed/bedding comfortable. All in all, a 10/10. Highly recommend to anyone in any stage of life.」

「We loved staying at the Elder Grove! Lovely room with a comfortable bed. On the main street, but outside noise never bothered us. The location makes it very walkable around Ambleside. Nice extra touches in the room like cookies and cocoa. The 'Herdy' mugs made me smile and the toilet paper has the ouline of little dogs imprinted on it. Breakfast had a nice selection of cold items, including homemade granola which was excellent. Made to order hot items. Andrea was very warm and welcoming.」
