Pros: great location right in Copper Village. You can exit the back of the condo to walk to 'Pitchfork' lift in about 5 minutes, which gives you easy access to SuperBee lift. Also easy to ski home at the end of the day and end up at the unit. It's about a 6 or 8 min walk to get to American Eagle lift too. Place is very big, and comfortably accommodated two families (4 kids and 4 adults) with room to spare. Lots of bedrooms, bunkbeds, etc. Pool table is super fun.
Cons: mostly Vacasa and their property management skills. We arrived to find a full bag of garbage in the kitchen, only one dishwasher detergent pod, and the hot tub was not turned on. Hot tub took 24 hours to heat up, so we wern't able to use it for one entire night. Vacasa is not reachable via phone (was only hold for more than 30 minutes). They were responsive via text, and did drop off more dishwasher pods the next day, to their credit. The sauna is comically small. One person can squeeze in, but it's impossible to sit comfortably or lie down flat. It does heat up quickly at least!
Vacasa needs to inform owners certain things are in disrepair (e.g., water filter in fridge needs replacing and constantly beeps, dishwater has no rinse aid, leaking faucet upstairs, sliding door to hot tub is off its tracks and very difficult to open/close, etc). Garage code is incorrectly written in the welcome book: you need to click "1" first before entering the code. My wife got locked out of the house at one point and learned this the hard way. Internet is slow and spotty with multiple people on devices.
I would stay here again at this price point, and this is an especially great place for 2 (maybe as many as 3) families. Place is big, comfortable, and a very convenient location for a Copper Mountain ski vacation. Note there are very few things left in the kitchen, so you'll want to bring your own coffee filters, oil, spices, etc. It's not like an Air BnB where a lot of these basics are provided.
