fantastic villa
we had an amazing stay at villa algeos. Outside space was awesome, views extraordinary. Owners were fantastic, slight electric hiccup with key code which had fused, an electrician arrived promptly to fix . Would definitely recommend and stay again

Perfect villa
This modern villa with comprehensive amenities is well looked after and extremely comfortable. The views from the terrace are stunning and the area was peaceful when we were there at the end of April. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and shops and exercise is available by climbing the mountain behind or swimming in very clear sea below. The owners were extremely helpful and provided a cot a high chair and a rocker for our 8 month old grandson. A perfect stay for us.

1 minutes walk from the beach.
It says in the description (ad) that the villa is 1 minutes walk from the beach. That's not true. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk down the road. The location description (map) on your website shows the wrong address.
We didn't rent a car because it was only "one minute to the beach" and perfect with 2 small children. Now we had to walk 15-20 minutes with 2 prams.
I feel a bit cheated because the information on your website is not correct about Villa Algeos

Highly Recommended!
Our stay at Villa Algeos was great! The Villa is spacious, well appointed and clean - exactly as you see online. The check in process with Spiros was perfect and he made it clear that we could contact him if there were any issues (there weren't). From the beginning we felt welcomed and at home. The outdoor spaces are incredible. Lots of room for a big group to spread out. The pool was perfect. We had a car so it was good that the Villa had ample (& secure) parking. There were several other thoughtful, little touches that made our stay better than most other vacation rentals I've booked. Also, Barbati beach is amazing (note that it's about a 15 min walk from the house) - but well worth it. And all the restaurants we visited in the area were great! Many thanks to the Villa Algeos team for their warm hospitality.

Magical stay at Algeos Villa
We had an unforgettable 10 days in this awesome villa! The villa itself is well-designed, maximising the wonderful views of the bay from the terrace, pool and wooden deck areas. Its careful design and all-white interior and exterior kept it relatively cool and we barely used the air con. The villa is so well-equipped, like a home from home so we were able to prepare food on the nights we stayed in and enjoyed the vista! We’ve never stayed in such a well-equipped villa! The location is perfect - within walking distance to the tavernas/mini-markets/beach, yet it felt so private and peaceful and away from the busy village centre. Our thanks to Spiros for welcoming us and settling us in, he was brilliant. He also takes such pride in maintaining pool and it was spotless - no stinky chlorine or sun cream stains! The best pool we’ve ever had. To summarise, you won’t be disappointed to stay here and enjoy the space it offers. We can’t wait to return!

Disappointing Stay with Numerous Issues and Lack of Support
I recently stayed at Villa Algeos with family and friends, and our experience was far from satisfactory. The emergency water tank was not maintained and should have been checked and filled upon our arrival, this left us without water upon arrival and for most of the following day due to a mains water issue. As a family with three young children, this was very distressing. We couldn’t use the toilets properly and had to buy loads of bottled water for washing and cooking. We were then asked to check the tank ourselves once this issue had been rectified, all this wasted a whole day out of our weeks holiday.
We also faced electrical power cuts. We were initially asked to try and fix these ourselves, which was again stressful with five fuse boxes. The issue was town-wide, but no on-ground support was available as both hosts live in Belgium. It is unacceptable for guests to handle such issues without proper support. Other Maintenance issues: a very loose/broken pool step rail (causing our 4yr old a fall), a broken towel rail, a non-working toaster, a smelly septic tank outside master bedroom, and no gas in the BBQ cylinder.
We received no apology or compensation from the hosts. However Nicole, the cleaner, was extremely helpful. I hope this feedback prompts necessary improvements.

Lage super, Objekt nicht wirklich sauber, Grill war unbenutzbar, dreckig, Reste vom Vorgänger, kein Propangas für die Benutzung, Mängel wurde trotz Abmahnung nicht behoben, Bettdecken fehlten, es war nachts kalt, Kommunikation mit Gastgeber mangelhaft, nach 3 Tagen wurden decken zur Verfügung gestellt, schrecklicher Geruch in unteren Etagen, Schimmelgeruch im Außenbereich,

Schöner geht's nicht
Wunderschöne Villa, traumhafter Ausblick, viele verschiedene wunderschön gestaltete Sitzmöglichkeiten, tip top sauber, alles vorhanden was man benötigt.
Wir waren 6 Frauen und haben den Aufenthalt in dieser traumhaften Villa mit wunderschönem Pool sehr genossen. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, Gastgeschenke gab es auch noch, lieben Dank dafür. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und hoffen dass dann das Wetter etwas besser ist.
