"Room was clean, but shower was lacking grab bars. At my age it makes a difference. Just wasn't the experience I expected from this class casio. Out side the ground around the front entrance was littered with cigarette buts. It was the experience we wanted on my birthday, of which I don't have many left. The view was the highlight of the trip. Will spend my money elsewhere when we come back to town."

"This was the worst Hilton experience I’ve ever encountered. My family and I were traveling overnight, prior to booking this hotel I called to let them know what time I would be arriving and to see if I would be able to check in early. I was told yes, so I continued my booking. Just to arrive at 5 am and be told the room was given away and they no longer had any rooms available for me to get into, until 11am. Fortunately, another hotel was accommodating and allowed me to pay to stay there from 5am- 12pm.Went back to Hilton around noon to check in again. Was assigned a room on the 9th floor, got there and the room hadn’t been cleaned, linen was still on the floor. Walked back to front desk and was assigned a second room on the 10th floor. Well someone was already occupying that room and we walked in on them. Walked down again for the third time. Obviously frustrated at this time and explaining to the front desk what just happened. Instead of the guy at the front desk being understanding to our frustration. He chooses to argue with us. Abigail, who was the most understanding and accommodating of them all. Finally assigned us a room that was actually ready. The shower took at least 10 minutes to actually get hot. We tried ordering room service using the QR code that was in the room, just to find out after paying and waiting for our order that their system didn’t work, and we needed to walk down for orders. Lastly valet broke my vehicle key."

"The staff is amazing, warm, friendly, and very approachable. My experience with the hotel was breathtaking. I was impressed with the character, charm, and the deco of the hotel; as well as the history of the building. You will want to take the bed home with you. I was only there for one night and plan to return soon and thinking about having my 70th birthday celebration there. I told the staff that their hotel was a hidden gem. Me not being from the Shreveport area. Kudos to the Remington Suite.❤️"

Boomtown Casino & Hotel

"This hotel lacks corporate investment. The rooms are clean, but amenities are scarce. There is just one fast food restaurant in this casino and Cattleman restaurant is open for 4 hours day and no room service or breakfast on site. You have to pray for door dash. The Louisiana Board walk is Zombie movie set. I was so disappointed. Food was aweful. I went to KFC and went back Texas."
