"I am very particular when I rent and stay places, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the house was. The host was perfect, answered the few questions I had, Bill was able to help us with a few minor things at the house. Some of the guests used the hot tub and it was clean and a good experience. Kitchen is perfectly stocked with every utensil and more that you may need. All in all, it was a pleasure to have no complaints. I will always come back and book with Timberrock ."

"We had a lovely long weekend at the Owl's Nest. Pearle and David were excellent hosts, with great communication throughout the entire process. They were very concerned that everything was to our expectations and that we had the best time. The cabin is very cozy and is complete with anything you could possibly need during your stay. They have a ton of board games and activities around the grounds such as basketball, hop scotch, frisbee golf and even axe throwing! The grounds are lovely, offering unexpected themed walking paths, offering a tribute to the Beatles, Alice in Wonderland, fun frogs and a fairly village. And the outdoor hot tub is heavely! They are currently building an outdoor Swedish sauna which will be the best. David and Pearle even made a point of ensuring that their boat dock was in place in time for our visit, knowing that we were bringing our boat with us. I rate this property 1000 out of 100! Great rental. We will definitely be making a return trip soon. Thank you so much Pearle and David! "

"We had an amazing stay in this lovely home. Kate is an excellent host, communication is great from her. The house was clean and stocked with some essentials for cleaning, even a couple of things in the pantry we forgot and thought we would have to do without! The pool, sauna and game room were a hit. Very spacious house, able to have space to yourself if needed or plenty of room to gather and socialize through out. One thing we did learn was no one delivers there, it’s a little bit of drive to get to town but it’s a nice drive. As for the layout, the one living room is sunken so you have a couple of stairs to go down to get into it. To get into the main part of the house there are also steps once you’re inside. If you’re traveling with anyone with mobility issues I recommend someone go in first to get the front door opened for them. Those stairs are much easier to navigate. "

"Within minutes of Thomas and Blackwater falls. This was a wonderful place for me and my boyfriend to stay at. It was central and made things so much easier especially cause we dont know our way around. I definitely would recommend this place, just for the sights alone. I will say my only note would be adding a sign or a little sticker that steps may be slippery with socks on, my boyfriend fell down three on the first day, but all was good. We just made sure to not wear socks going down the steps."

"We enjoyed our stay it was a nice place to come back to winddown after a day of walking the parks, shopping, and sightseeing. Thank You.The Host was nice, and was quick to respond to emails with rental information, we needed to know for our stay at the beginning of April.The Kitchen was clean, well stocked with the essential kitchen equipment - dishes utensils, pots and pans to cook a stay-in meal.Fireplace was not working, but the Host did let us know that ahead of time in the rental information.Rooms were neat and tidy, pillows and blankets were provided by Host as well as some cleaning ,paper products, trash bags and toiletries. We needed to bring sheets and pillowcases, also towels for kitchen and bathrooms, and for swimming.We had a nice view of Deep Creek Lake from the back of the home, spacious deck off of livingroom and a lower level patio.We were located right off the main road that goes around the lake which was convenient to local restaurants, shopping, and sight seeing in the area. We were in close proximity to three State Parks-Deep Creek, Herrington Manor and Swallow Falls. "
