“We were so pleased to find a rental located in the quaint village of Corniglia. The place was clean and the terrace on the rooftop had breathtaking views of the coastline. We did not receive check in instructions until the day of arrival so we would have preferred communication in advance. The showers are quite small and there are steps to manage with your luggage but we managed without any difficulty. We were overall very pleased with the rental and would visit again.”

“This is a very unique and once in a lifetime place to stay. It is a 10-15 minute walk along the cliffs above the sea to reach the historic cottage. It is definitely a bit rustic, but an authentic experience. We visited the towns of Cinque Terre which were very touristy and it was a relief to return to this isolated location with amazing views. Mariella was great at communicating through WhatsApp and met us and lead us all the way to the cottage- which is necessary because google maps won’t get……

“The apt is extremely nice. Everything is top notch. Unique devote in each room. Our only regret were the stairs. Approx 130. So be prepared!! We would definitely stay here again”

“We loved our stay here - the place is simple and clean without frills luxury travellers might want but it was perfect for us. We were able to cook in the kitchen, the bed was comfortable, and the windows were new and worked well. Everything was excellent, but the view is the star of the show. The place feels very private. The path to the water is outside the front door and the town was stunning.”

“The property was a comfortable transition from a regular hotel room. We enjoyed the outdoor patios and used the kitchen for breakfast 2 days and the washing machine several times. The only issue was the third floor stairs after a steady hill climb- for those with mobility issues- this property would be impossible. We hope to return next year. ”

“Renata was a wonderful host. She went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one. Her home is lovely with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths and more than enough space for the 3 of us. The garden was beautiful and a nice place to enjoy the lovely weather we had during our visit. She picked us up at the station so we didn’t have to carry our luggage, had all sorts of recommendations and made reservations for us for dinner. It’s obvious that she loves hosting and wanted to make sure that we had a……

“Our stay at Casa del Borgo was pleasant. We had good communication w/host as very responsive. We did not realize how remote the air b n b was, but it made for a private cozy getaway. Renata left great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. she even made dinner reservations for us! “Good communication with host. Easy check in. Biggest plus of this apartment is the location right in Marconi Piazza. There is not a lot of accommodation in Vernazza especially ones that don’t require multiple sets of stairs, only one up to the apartment here. The beds were comfy and we had everything we need although we did not do any email preparation. The kitchen how to basics. We would stay here again.”

“Lots of steps but totally worth every step. The upstairs bedroom with window open, listening to the sea - it’s just a dream. Loved the cute kitchen and we made several meals here with ingredients from stores just a short walk away. We hope to be back next year!”

“The check in staff and breakfast staff were absolutely excellent, they couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The rooms and hotel were very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was excellent. The location was good for us when coupled with the regular free local mini buses. It was good for access to Baia Blu with good car parking. It was quite expensive but we certainly hope to stay again. ”

“La Ligurie est une région extraordinaire, la Spezia et le parc naturel des cinq terres sont de vrais petits bijoux. Lidia nous a permis de passer un séjour très agréable, elle nous a donné plein de renseignements en français ce qui nous a beaucoup facilité les choses. L’appartement de Lidia était idéalement situé près de tous : la gare, le centre, les commerces, les bonnes pizzerias. Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve, ne se déplaçant que par train, bus pour découvrir Pise, les cinq villages……

“Clean and had everything in the room you could ask for . Very helpful with checking in and looking after bags after check out. Very approachable ”

“The room was very clean and had daily maid service, which was not expected. Bed was comfortable. Double room in the title is a bit of a stretch as it is a room with a hallway to a bathroom. The views shown are visible ever so slightly through the hallway window. We loved being in Corneglia so the smallness of the room and lack of view were not big issues. This is a very clean nice room.”
