My husband loved kayaking in the lake. It is definietly set in the country but that what exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to be close to both storyland and our family in Bridgton so it was the perfect spot for us. Thanks for a great stay. We are already looking to stay for future dates!”

“This vacation was my way of celebrating my 50 th birthday w/ my family. The location was secluded enough to not hear traffic but very close to stores, restaurants, hiking trails & golf courses. The house had everything we needed to cook , it was very clean and spacious. The fire pit and beach were great. We all agreed it was special enough to come back.”

“We were very happy with our stay. The house was perfect for us and the location could not have been better. It is located a short drive to North Conway which is what we wanted. There are many breweries and restaurants within a very easy drive. The only issue we were not thrilled with is you have to bring your own sheets and towels which we did not see mentioned in the original listing. Aside from this I highly recommend this home.”

“We stayed in excellent VRBO rentals before. Only problem was garbage from previous rentals had never been removed from property. As snow melted we found an old cigar but on deck as well as dog poop. Which we picked up ourselves. The were many different conflicting instructions on what not to do and what to do in regards to heat, water, dishwasher (there is no dishwasher), but there were pods for one? Otherwise, we had fun. Would recommend streamlining instructions, and removing trash as we had……

“This was our second stay and we’ve already reserved it for next year for our annual family ski vacation. We ski at King Pine because it’s great for kids, but there are several mountains within easy reach. We absolutely love the open floor plan of the house because we can all be together in the kitchen, living room and dining room on the main floor. There are four bedrooms plus a loft - just perfect for everyone to have their own space. As the listing says, the driveway is steep so if there’s……

“Our annual family vacation in Bridgton was wonderful in large part due to this chalet in the Knights Hill neighborhood. The house was perfect. Spacious, comfortable, and a short walk to the beach and pool. Phil is the consummate host: responsive, accommodating, and cordial. I highly recommend the Chalet.”

“The cabin, property and pond have several highlights. The cabin is located on a very quiet road which we found very pleasant. Nice walks up the road with our children. We met some of the neighbors who were very friendly. It has a good beach with space to spread out, even with the high water this year. Small set of stairs from the lawn to the beach. There were kayaks and a canoe to use. We took the kayaks out and enjoyed ourselves with those. Large lawn and firepit along with table. The kitchen……
