“Incredibly great service and great food. ”

“This is a lovely old Inn. We found that there was not good lighting to read in our room and just one chair. As the weather was poor It would have been nice to spend time reading. Ther is a couch downstairs that we could have used. ”

“Such a wonderful place. So very clean and cozy. Wonderful people. Unfortunately the bed was far too soft for our liking. If we are in the area again we would certainly stay there again but would call ahead first to see if the matresses were replaced. Other than the matress, I loved this place!”

“We stayed in the cottage. The location was beautiful and the view breathtaking. Our host Jeff was lovely, prepared a light healthy breakfast each day and always had a recommendation for our day trips. At first glance, the cottage was nicely furnished and neat. However, we were disappointed and felt uncomfortable due to the lack of cleanliness of the bathroom, kitchenette and cabinets. The drinking glasses had obvious marks from previous guests. “Very nice B&B in a nice spot, very green, close to the lake, woods or you can simply enjoy the beautiful garden. Room was spacious, bath a bit small, very comfy bed, and a very nice host, who cooks great breakfast with organic vegies of his garden. ”

“We had a nice stay at the Mt Philo Inn. The hosts are so lovely and super accommodating. The East Suite is spacious and homey. It would be perfect for a family. We were given a perfectly curated basket with all the fixings for a Vermont breakfast which we greatly appreciated especially on this snowy weekend. The location is wonderful if you’re interested in hiking as you can walk right to the mountain which we loved. The hosts even supply sleds for a bit of winter fun! ”

“Owners were so nice, bed was great, linens and towels were wonderful. House is very old and only drawback (which is original to the house and should not be changed!) is the bar/latch style door handles. The Violet Room has its private bathroom across the hall landing, but if you get up in the night as we do, you do make a lot of noise rattling those handles! Walls are thin.But that didn't disturb us, since the other patrons on our visit were very quiet and considerate. If you are looking for……
