OBX 4x4 Almost Paradise

Overall it was great. A few items around the property could be fixed, but the location is great and the house was everything we needed. We did have a water issue, it maintenance was sent out to fix the problem. The pool needed cleaned when we got there, that too was taken care of with proper service.

Not paradise at all

Completely disappointed! Was dirty and I have pictures of everything!! Top to bottom this house was nothing like the pictures or description!! Was completely disgusting. From the pool having a dead frogs to mouse droppings and ants all in the kitchen. And forget using the downstairs hang out area it was so musty and moldy, I couldn’t breathe my allergies were terrible. I ended up in the doctors office when I got home. So if you want to see dead animals/clean up other peoples messes/go to the hospital after your vacation because you have a terrible infection from the mold and this is the house for you!

Awesome vacation

The property was perfect. We loved the location. Everything was stocked very well. The pool was awesome. It was so incredible seeing the horses come right into the yard. I would definitely recommend this property!

Wonderful!

Our family rented this home over a year in advance. We were a little nervous as some bad reviews started coming in. We were happily surprised when we arrived! This home is absolutely wonderful! It was very clean on arrival. The kitchen is equipped with anything you’d need to cook for a large group. There is. wonderful game room in the lowest level that has an area to hangout. The pool and hot tub were very clean and a wonderful time! The neighborhood is very quite and peaceful! We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely book again! The only thing to note is there were no paper towels, toilet paper or trash bags upon arrival. This wasn’t a problem because we prepared and brought some but if you don’t bring a starter for yourself it could be a problem! Overall amazing vacation!

Yucky yuck

I have nothing good to say about this property for the price. The down stairs bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds where dirty and the lights didn't work at all!!!! The downstairs shower also didnt work. I messaged for clean sheets and more towels and never got them. The top deck wood was so rotted that we almost fell through, sand was in all beds, the hot tub was gross and dirty...never again. We will never ever stay there again. Gross, take your bus elsewhere.

great location lack of cleanliness

This was our second time staying at this property and we love the size for our large family and the location which is a quick walk from the beach! only negative is that even though they charge a cleaning fee and we understand they can’t clean super well we had to clean the entire place before using it. bathrooms had stuff in them and all the bedrooms had food on the floor and one room even had pills under the bed which is not great when you have 3 little kids. besides the cleanliness the stay was great!

Paradise

We loved our vacation and our location. Upon arrival we found some cleaning issues but sent photos to the realtor company so they would know. We just took care of it ourselves. ( it was garbage left behind on the deck in a bucket) This home was beautiful.

Awesome vacation

The house could use some updates, and outside shower area was messy but overall we loved it and met all of our needs. We saw 3 wild horses right away and saw them several times during the week. 20 minutes to town which did not bother us. Great beach access. The house is 3 levels which we did not realize. We would definitely stay here again and plan on booking at the same place next year !

The process was easy, from check in to check out everything went very smooth. My only complaint is that the windows were so dirty you couldn’t see out of them. Everything else was great.

Beach vacay almost paradise

Location of property was perfect for quiet beach vacay with family and friends More attention should have been paid to cleanliness of the home. Sofas were covered in pet hair and stains floors needed to be swept light bulbs need be replaced in living/dining area as well as master bathroom. Ceiling fan in living room not working. Screen on living room sliders off track. 2nd floor entry door check was broken.

Cleanness

Garbage not picked had to wait 30 minutes for someone to come and get we were in car with 2 dogs and couldn’t get out Cigarette butts all over deck had to clean them up along with empty bottles and cans utensils left on ground by grill could not use it it that dirty. Hot tub broke on first try Stains on every carpet of every room. Our mattress was dirty. Would not recommend this as a vacation rental because of being dirty Also had to get out with no refund on weds.am. And was told with someone at Beach Reality who was quite belligerent that we lost all money without taking insurance because it is a scam told the reality co we will come back to outer banks but not with them and that included 4 families

Family friend vacay

Couple minor hiccups in the beginning but we had a blast! 17 people in the house and we did not feel crowded once!!
