Great location and stay. We bypassed a golf cart rental as the location gave a short walk to the beach. Communication was great and the property was well-cared for and clean.

Absolutely wonderful

We had a wonderful stay during sand fest with 2 adults and 8 children. We were all comfortable with our own sleeping space. The house was clean, beds were comfortable and the house was well stocked! We do this trip every year and will for sure book again!

Great Stay

Crab House was a very comfortable place to stay. Great Decor, can tell that owners care about thier place. Didn't like that garage wasnt available for storage after beach. One recliner in living room was broken and unusable. We had 6 Adults and 1 child which the accommodation was perfect in size.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Crab Pad. Clean, well organized property, and great location. Only small wish is that the area around the pool (for the lounge chairs) was a bit cleaner.

Perfect solution for our weekend

With our teenage kids and their friends along with the ride, we needed a layout that provided separation between my wife and I and them. This was perfect. They were downstairs and we were upstairs. Clean, nice. The staff was very responsive. Kitchen was great...perfect for making breakfast for 6 teenagers.

Spring Break stay

The stay from beginning to end was exceptional. The response to questions was quick. The property was as advertised and right in the middle of everything. The beach was minutes away. I’d highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again!

2022 Beach Trip

We visit Port A every year and typically stay in a house, but decided to try a townhome as our stay was a little shorter. The Crab Pad did not disappoint. Very nice home that was comfortable for our family of six. The upstairs area to watch TV and visit was very nice. Kitchen was well stocked and having the half bath was nice. We also liked the location since you could drive up and down 11th street and anywhere in downtown Port A on a golf cart. Certainly a property we would stay at again. We did not have any issues, but the property management company was extremely helpful and communicated well through email and texting. Appreciated that.

Very clean & well organized

4 adults and 2 kids really enjoyed our stay here. It’s really well appointed and was immaculate. Lots of space and quality kitchen items for cooking. We also appreciated there being more than just 1 or 2 dishwasher tabs and at least 2 rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom as well. The kids loved the bunk cubbies with TVs for the little down time we had. Shared pool was nice with a couple shaded tables. Our challenges: soft mattresses (totally a preference/comfort), noisy balcony neighbors at 0700 (nothing hosts have control over!), and a random step down into the laundry room when the rest of the floor was level. We hung items to dry in the laundry room so kept the door open but blocked it with the ironing board to keep people from forgetting about the step down. Overall a great place to stay with easy parking and fantastic host communication.

Perfect for a family of six

Such a beautiful property. Clean, well kept, as described. Working tvs. Clean bedding and towels. Good kitchen and laundry. Perfect for our family of six. If you stay rent a golf cart. Makes it a blast and easy to get around. Especially because of the beach driving permit letting you drive right to the water.

Crab Pad Family Spring Break

Family of 5 everything good, close to beach and town which is nice. Property manager very responsive. We did buy window alarms ($20 from Walmart) for the kids rooms for added security but that’s just for our own piece of mind.

We had a great time!

It was very clean and updated. Lots of room and the kitchen had everything you needed. Location was walking distance to the beach. Shops and restaurants were very close. My only complaint would be there wasn’t enough paper towels, TP, or trash bags. Other than that it was perfect.

The location is great! We were close to everything we needed. Shopping, restaurants, ferry, and the beach was just a short walk or drive away. Everything was great! Very clean and comfortable.

Hurricane Hanna

Overall, the property was exactly as billed. Great location, clean, roomy and most important great communication with property manager Courtney. We notified Courtney of upcoming safety concerns with hurricane approaching and we came to agreement to leave property day earlier than reserved. Courtney agreed to credit us the night at a future date which was beyond reasonable. Hurricane shortened our stay but Courtney’s genuine thoughtfulness is what we will remember most.
