Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in several units in Lost Colony over the lady 10 years. All were wonderful but this one was our most favorite. It is clean, beach front view, all beds were comfortable and each room has its own bathroom. A must stay in Port A.

The weather was perfect all week—sunny, warm, and ideal for swimming and relaxing. The beach was stunning: clean, quiet, and with soft sand and crystal-clear water.Our accommodations were steps from the shore, making it easy to enjoy early morning walks and sunset views right from the balcony. Everything was spotless and super comfortable.We also found some great local spots for fresh seafood and tropical drinks—perfect for winding down after a day in the sun. Everyone we met was friendly, and the atmosphere was so laid-back and relaxing.

Port A Escapes were easy to get ahold of when I had questions. One thing is, there are not a lot of items stocked. Bring extra paper towels and blankets and anything you may need to cook. They had salt and pepper and cooking utensils but no condiments, sugar, oil or anything else.

Friends trip

Love the location of Lost Colony. This is the 3rd house we have stayed in there and it is our favorite! View of the beach is outstanding and loved that all of the rooms are on the same floor!

Wonderful stay for our ladies' group

My friends and I (ladies in our 60s) rented this for a girls' getaway. Everything was just perfect for our stay. Right on the beach and a comfortable bedroom and bathroom for each of us. We will definitely be back!

Great get away

A great unit in great location over looking the ocean from a large deck. Short walk to the beach and short drive to town, but far enough out to not be as crowded.

Family Fun ON the Beach

This beautiful home was clean and comfortable with a great layout and location. The view was unsurpassed! Be aware that driving is allowed on the beach, but most cars are driving safely. We enjoyed a wonderful family time together and highly recommend this property.

Family Vacation

What an amazing place to stay! We were right on the beach, just steps away from the boardwalk. The beach was quiet and clean. The view was amazing. I loved that the house had everything we needed also. There were enough supplies such as paper towels and toilet paper to last the whole trip and all the pots and pans, plates, and utensil were great quality. There were also beach toys provided and a grill. Highly recommend!

Premium view

We spent two weeks windsurfing at Bird Island Basin and appreciated coming home to a relaxing, beautiful home on the beach. We used the kitchen extensively and found it to be well equipped. The decor is lovely and fun. Having a garage to store all of our gear and an outdoor hose was really handy. The house is perfectly situated between Port A proper and Corpus Christi beach so we had plenty of options for shopping and eating out.
