Perfect Escape !!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This room is a mile from the beach with great food within blocks from the room. Very nice pool and spa and fishing pond on site, The room was clean when we arrived with fresh bedding, pet friendly! This was an affordable get away and we feel like it’s the best bargain in Port A. Thanks for a great stay!!

Nice little get away

I needed a break from deadlines, business meetings etc. Padre Island Escapes did a great job in making that happen. The condo was perfect. Smart TV provided a little entertainment and there was lot to do on the Island. The condo was very clean, and everything was in working order. Padre Is. Escapes was a phone call away for any questions. Worth every penny I paid.

Very disappointed 😞

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very disappointed with this condo. Very old furniture felt like a cheap motel. I think this condo needs a face-lift really bad. Won't be back.

Private Patio! Great location and communication!

If you just need a place to crash while you visit the beach, this works well! The communication was great, the location was amazing, and the pool area is nice and clean. We did not visit the gym. The condo itself is very dated. Someone left an open pack of chewing tobacco and their spittoon in the pantry cabinet (we weren’t about to touch it, so we left it there). We didn’t spend much time in the condo as we took advantage of our time at the beach, so for this purpose it was just fine for us. Though the place could use some updating, it was very clean!!

Not Great

My first bad VRBO review. First set back was the pool wasn’t open, despite booking when it was supposed to be, and they didn’t offer any discount…just an email saying “sorry”. Next was the stay. No kuerig, no shampoo, just two cheap bars of soap for the entire stay. The floors were extremely thin and we could not sleep because of the neighbor up stairs, we heard every single step until midnight, and somehow they were awake again at 2am. I’m military and can sleep through anything, my wife and I weren’t able to sleep through this. The mattress was a 2 out of 5 and we were really disappointed. I can’t recommend this place.Giving two stars because the location was good. Everything else was not a good experience.

Reviewer Comments: Overall the the shore thing CBC111K was nice, however, the couch bed was uncomfortable and the AC would not go lower than 71 and it got hot at night for me. We didn't get to utilize the hot tub and that was one of the things I was looking forward to with my boyfriend in the late evening. Had I know that I would have booked somewhere else. I never meet any staff, just received a text on how to get in and a text to check out. One other thing the hose for the car wash was not there to utilize.

Great location - short walk from the beach. It was clean and cozy. Pool, hot tub, and gym were very nice. I would choose it again and do recommend to others.

Loved the short walk to the ocean

Beach was nice, neighborhood safe and condo was clean. Had a smell but maybe that’s due to being close to the ocean and high humidity. We enjoyed the pool area as well.

Condo has no blinds on windows. Each window has one panel of a curtain which doesnt allow any safe privacy. Being on first floor allowed all passersbys to look into the window. At night hd to chnge in closent ir bsthroom because you can see through curtain. Condo located in a busy parking area. Truck lights, loud music and drunken fights.

I'ts not the Best....

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overal I'll give 5 out of 10, Aoartment so old and RUSTY, all the appliances need upgrades, fridge and dryer are the worse, I couldn;t use the dryer because the Rusty INSIDE, So it was very unconfortable. Need deep cleaning and PET CONTROL,trash under the floor and we saw litlle cocroaches on the floor, disgusting, in general I wouldn't stay there anymore.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at several Beach Club condo units, and even owned a unit for a few years. The one bedroom we stayed at had equipment in need of replacement and was not as clean as any of the other units we stayed before. The bathtub was not cleaned properly and even rust stained, and the coffee maker needed to be replaced as the burner had caked on coffee.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in several units at this property over the years. This unit was not so great. Past units we stayed at were in better condition. Most felt like the owners vacationed in them too. This unit seemed like it was purely a rental, was filled with deferred maintenance and smelled like mildew. I would have gladly paid a bit more for a nicer unit like our previous stays, but there really wasn’t any way for me to tell from the pictures that that wasn’t what we were getting this time. Overall we were a bit grossed out and not sure we’d rent again unless we were confident we were getting a better unit.

Comfortable but Dated

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean and good location. Good amenities provided. Good Wi-Fi connection. Needs some updating like getting rid of the popcorn ceilings, replace very loud and old dryer, bathroom needs updating (rust on the wall/ceiling), difficult to figure out the bathtub faucet. The building access from the parking lot was not friendly to people with mobility issues. It was difficult to climb the steps with luggages, cooler with wheels, and the white handrail was rickety (not sturdy). Parking for this particular condo should be closer to the building, instead of in front of another building. People upstairs were very noisy (happened after 10pm) stomping their feet. And the TV in the bedroom didn’t work...even after following all the instructions provided. Instructions for location of dumpster should be provided. Perhaps we just missed this info if it was provided.

Will not stay here again

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is my second time to stay at the Beach Club. The first time we had ants in the kitchen. This time the were a number of problems. The internet in the condo was HORRIBLE. It was so bad that the kids could not use their tablets, I couldn't check emails, and the smart tv worked occassionally. We figured it out that if you really wanted to use the internet, you needed to be right next to the router to do so. The people above us were so incredibly loud all day and all night. It sounded like the were drilling through the floor, there were nights that my children had a hard time falling a sleeping with the loud bangs that would hit their floor/our ceiling. The hallway to our condo was always covered in sandy foot prints like someone walked straight off the beach into the hallway. There was also a dirty diaper in the hallway for a good 2 days, gross. The pool needed to be cleaned. We were there for 6 days and everyday we would get clumps (I mean huge clumps) of hair on us while swimming in the pool. The hot tub was out of order for a few days while we were there, then it was back in working conditions. However, the water temperature was too hot to even get in it. At one time there were about 8 kids in it, standing and peeing in it. Finally, as we were loading up and cleaning up our condo from our stay, my kids and I took our trash out at 10:30 and returned at 10:35 to find out that we had been locked out of our condo. We did not do the checkout link or anything. I still had my phone and car keys in the condo. Luckly the patio door was still unlocked so I had to climb over the patio railing to get back in the condo. This is unacceptable to lock your guests out before check out time or before being notified your guest are checking out.

The resort was nice on the outside but could use some maintenance: hall carpet was old/dirty and handrails on front steps were wobbly. Location convenient to the beach. The condo was clean but could use some updating: laminate counters, old appliances. A dish drying rack would be helpful, otherwise everything necessary to cook was provided. Overall, great for the price. Would stay here again.
