Nice stay for a weekend

The setting is not as private as I expected based on the description. The cabin has everything you need and a great fireplace!

A cozy place

We did enjoy our visit. Unfortunately, the hot tub was broken when we attempted to use it. Called and did get a call back. It was a Sunday so I knew getting someone to fix it wouldn’t happen that day. I was disappointed that was the last I spoke to anyone. The hot tub was still broken when we left. It was a wonderful property and we did enjoy it.

Good getaway

Relaxing back porch, sitting in the hot tub by the creek. Was a really peaceful stay...mostly. There is a property in front where a guy makes wood carvings using a chainsaw. So there was noise at times. It wasn't continuous, but at times was noticable. The peaceful sound on the river/creek out back really helped is a rwally beautiful way. And the view off the back porch is gorgeous for like 80%. The other 20...ther is a home that has cleared off a good deal of trees. You still have your privacy...that's not any issue. Just not as scenic. Also: bring your tupperware to store your leftovers. There wasn't anything already there for that. But that was on us. We assumed. We had a great time. Well taken care of. Mostly felt like we were away from everything, but had all the amenities we needed. And having the creek/river right out back was great. We would stay again if we traveled to the area.
