“We enjoyed our stay so much that we tried to extend our stay! Will definitely be going back the next time we are visiting Portugal. It's a bit of a drive from the property to get anywhere but the beautiful thing about this place is that you don't really need to go anywhere, just sit back and relax. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Idyllisch hotel. Vrien”

“A very small, quaint hotel just outside a small town with good restaurant options. The hotel reception was very helpful. The breakfast was incredible. We will definitely stay longer next time to enjoy the hotel more!”

“Amazing place located 3 minutes from beach. Angela, staff, was truth angel did take great care of us.”

“This is THE place to stay!! Just like coming home. Only 5 lovely rooms all facing the pool. Breakfast is so good and beautifully served at the table by the lovely owners. A big livingroom with many places to sit and read and a help yourself bar. We did the fisherman’s trail and the place is about 15 minuts up from the trail. A nice restaurant nearby. I can really recommend this smal lovely hotel .”

“A lovely place, with nice pools. Lovely accommodation and breakfast. A 2 km journey in to town”

“Ein wunderschöner Ort mit tollem Apartment mit Dachterrasse, Kochnische, gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten, großem Bad, tolle Schlafzimmer. Alles sehr sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sehr freundliches, herzliches Personal. Sehr leckeres Frühstück. Auf dem ganzen Fischweg war dieses Apartment die schönste Unterkunft für uns. Danke, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!”

“Enigma has a great location and, in my opinion, the concept of the hotel has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not quite live up to what we expected, especially considering the price we paid. The hotel is clearly in need of better maintenance. There was mould visible on some of the walls, the pool did not look particularly clean, and the spa felt quite outdated. The gym was also very poor, with only a few machines and very limited equipment. We also had dinner at……

“Very nice hotel with a lovely breakfast. The downside was no heating inside in the end of October. It was 8 degrees outside in the morning = cold inside.”

“After having hiked over 200 km in a week, Casa Nook was exactly the place we wished for. It was quiet and comfortable, with a nice pool and cozy living room and kitchen to share. Breakfast was nice, with freshly baked bread and yummie yoghurt. We felt very happy in Casa Nook!”

“Staff was wonderful. Beautiful surroundings”

“The property is lovely but: 1. Everything was closed at 8 pm. We hiked the trail and showered and went for dinner and got home for a swim or relaxing Turkish bath… closed. 2. Gorgeous breakfast… however we came early to have a simple coffee and light fruit then returned to room to get our luggage ready for transfer. Came back to have a breakfast and an elderly male manager questioned us why we came back if we already had been there. He was terribly offensive. I would never return to this……

“Great value for money”

“The place was spotlessley clean and the breakfast was fantastic. If I had to find fault, it would only be that there were no mosquito nets on the patio doors and the bed slightly hard for my liking. Highly recommended!”

“Gute Unterkunft, mit nettem Personal. Die zu,,er sind klein aber ausreichend.”
