From the excellent communication before arrival to the moment we arrived and beyond, Christopher (the proprietor) made sure we felt right at home. Having stayed at a couple others including Lords of the Manor, the positives of this one in comparison are: its easier to get to from London, the grounds are amazing and impeccable, its a truly remote feel among the hills, land and animals of Cotswolds, and the michelin starred Dining Room is probably the best food in the Cotswolds. The only real obvious negative vs say the Lords of the Manor is you arent in walking distance of a……

“Very cosy but modernized historic property! Had its own pub and restaurant serving delicious food and drink, and our hotel room included a cooked to order hot breakfast. It’s in a quiet countryside but with easy access to towns for any needed supplies. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!”
