“Check in quick and easy. Parking was busy but always found a space. Room was clean and functional, cleaned daily although often not until well into the afternoon. The safe was not working when we arrived but was fixed almost immediately on notifying reception. The food, both breakfast and evening meals, was very good quality with lots of choice. The gym was out of operation which we were not aware of before arrival - there was no indication of when it would reopen. The swimming pool has 2……

“Booked this for my mum and dad and they said how the hotel was very convenient to the local attractions however the rooms where not cleaned well at all, the dust on the bedside table, dressing table and tv was obvious to the eye. Not meeting their expectations.”

“At best the photos are misleading. The chairs in the photo were not there. The cooking utensils were one very small saucepan. The cups were dirty. There were no towels, tea towels or toilet rolls or plug for the kitchen sink. Central heating was an infrared heater on the wall. The sink in the bathroom was rusty and discoloured the water. The whole room was grubby. The WiFi and tv did not work. Several people tried and failed to get it working. The outside area was run down with broken equipment……

“The room was clean, the water was hot and the staff were great. We had a problem with the safe which was fixed promptly. Our room was facing the road so there was a lot of traffic noise. The room was super hot - open windows and the supplied fan didn’t help much.”

“I Love places where you can stay, eat and enjoy the locals. Checking in the Hotel staff was very nice. The gentleman that works all night cleaning was wonderful and very helpful. He also has a great voice & wonderful song in his toolbox. Very cute Bar & the Bartenders were great and very attentive nice place. Then, we went into the restaurant. Ordered a bowl of Chowder and Fish and Chips. Meanwhile I’m Waiting…. Waiting 30 minutes. No Chowder? Other patrons came in and got served and ate. I……
