「Loved our host Colin. He was very helpful and quickly responded to our questions. The location is great for a central place in Ireland. Quiet street with easy parking. The beds were comfortable and the bungalow had everything we needed. The only thing that might need some changing is the front door lock. We used the back door. There was a very helpful book with instructions. But, some of the instructions were outdated. Any questions or concerns, the host was easily available to help.」

「Amazing home that, as said before in other reviews, is even better in person. LOVED the renovated stone barn, LOVED our hosts, LOVED the heated beds, LOVED the tub, LOVED the resident kitty that came to visit. Be aware, that you will be cozy if you know how to build and maintain a wood stove. Otherwise, this may not be the fall/winter destination for you. Not immediately close to many amenities (food/shopping) but not far either. (by U.S. standards)」

「It was fine. Beds were nice, and the decor was pleasant. WiFi didn’t work, and there is construction going on in the attached house. The email communication was unmonitored. Not the same value as other similar places where we’ve stayed. 」

「Gillian's apartment was the perfect base for us exploring Cork County, the beautiful Copper Coast and the magnificent Rock of Cashel. Parking is ample and safe, and the apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with EVERYTHING we needed to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen has all you need to make meals (we made our breakfast everyday before hitting the road, and a.couple of dinners too). Thank you Gillian for hosting us. We would definitely return when visiting Cork...
