"I have never really written reviews for properties on Expedia previously. This is the first one. I stayed in this place in Aug 2022 while on TMB. I could not find a refuge on the trail and decided to try this venue. I will absolutely do it all over again. To begin with, the owner, Alfred, was very responsive before the trip. He initiated contact through Expedia and made sure that we were on the same page in terms of arrival and departure schedule and made restaurant recommendations. We arrived...

"Court séjour d’une nuit dans cet hôtel tres bien situé à Val Thorens. Literie confortable, chambre propre et bien équipée. Petit déjeuner varié et bon. Spa très agréable. Conforme au standard 4*. Mention spéciale pour Sébastien le réceptionniste bienveillant, arrangeant, à l’écoute et très réactif! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir ! "

"Freezing cold apartment. You could see your breath (heating not on and had not been in for some time). Fridge not working. We had to sleep in our clothes. The joke of this is that they are trying to bill us €50 for leaving the apartment dirty. (After we complained). We would like to see the photos for this damage. Disgusting. We will take up with Expedia."

"Chalet Cosy, is a good venue for skiing, easily reached from the funicular. It is quiet and peaceful with a lovely view for sunsets down the valley. The grocery shop at 1600 has most things so self catering was easy. Really enjoyed our stay and Pierre is a great host."
