“My 18 year old found this amazing spot, for our Anniversary! We wanted a lakeside getaway and this was ideal in so many ways. We spent the afternoons at the lake and when the weather permitted, we had breakfast there too. It rained both nights which also allowed us to have cozy indoor time together. “Our group has been coming to the Norwich area every year for the past 5 years, and this by far was the best property we have stayed at. “We spent 3 nights in the house. It's a wonderfully cozy (but very large) house. All the amenities worked well, and the hosts left notes in every, single room explaining each room's special features. We asked a couple of questions via the VRBO messaging system, and the host answered promptly. It's very, very quiet and it takes about 12 minutes to drive to UCONN's campus, if that's what you're there for, but it is an easy drive with little traffic. “My friend and I stayed here for a few days. Despite the horrible rainy weather we had a wonderful time. The house was very comfortable, clean and stocked with all necessities. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of kitchenware for your cooking needs. We had one nice day of sunny weather and drove to a nearby town in MA for lunch then used the BBQ on the deck for a beautiful dinner with lake view.
