Great place! Later check out available! They are rebuilding restaurant inside but very nice place and people! Very helpful! The view is beautiful but uber does not work here

Hotel has under the name of "Magnuson Hotel" Dingy wash cloths towels. Stained tub. Stains on carpet. Black grainy material in bath water. No soap, no shampoo. Did not clean room on second day. Shower did not work, had to call maintaince to turn off bathtub. Breakfast? cereal. Mini donuts, coffee. Restaurant closed. We will never stay at this property again. Note, I stayed here years ago and it was a nice place, good restaurant, friendly staff. Looks like years of neglect and poor property management. Fix up this property, or it will fail.

It was quiet, smelled good, and comfortable enough. They loaded my room with mints and tiny soap bars in hopes of getting a good review. Pillows were terrible and sheets felt like sand paper.

Friendly staff. Location is excellent. Rooms perfect for all needs. Extended stay is relaxing with lovely pool . Elevators of you can’t do stairs. Will always stay if I need a place close to Hot Springs . Best rate and best place. On site small general store for the little things. Absolute quiet from pool after 10pm. No worries. Cleaning staff excellent. Problems are addressed . Management hands on. Currently under Renovation for bar and food service. Fast food on either side fur late snacking. Delivery from local restaurants is handy. But room with fridge and microwave.

I booked 2 rooms in 1 room the TV and the toilet didn’t work in the 2nd room there was a cobweb in the corner. The staff was pleasant and lobby was clean and tidy I did appreciate that they could accommodate us at the last minute

The room was generally clean. The upholstered chairs looked like a they had been used by a mechanic. The toilet would run to refill the bowl every 4 minutes.

Pleased

The room they put us in was recently remodeled. It was nice! I would call this a no-frills hotel, but for our purposes (hiking/photography trip) it was perfect. The hotel has a little convenience store kiosk near the main desk, has very nicely arranged furniture in the lobby, and was quiet for our stay. We'll be glad to remember this place for future mountain travels that involve western Virginia. Falling Spring Falls isn't too far away, neither is Douthat State Park and the George Washington National Forest.

We are on the road to North Carolina and stopped when it got dark to sleep. We wanted to stay somewhere for a value. This room is non-smoking, but has an odor. The bed were made, and I didn't see any bed bugs. I did see bugs in the bathroom and dead ones on the carpet which was not vacuumed. I wish that we would have slept in the car instead.

Building is in decline. Attention to cleanliness is lacking. Food was under the bed and dirt lined the room. Bed looked washed. Bathroom seemed to be clean. Water seeping from the floor. Signs of water damage in room.

Needs help

The beds were full size not queens as requested. The room was clean, and well kept. I was a little put off by having to park my car at the other end of the building from my room. I was also upset that the restaurant kitchen was closed for remodeling. We had stayed here a few years ago, and had fond memories of the restaurant. I hope it will be open again before our next visit. I hope in the future that whomever makes the decisions on the motel, reconsiders the coffee that is in the rooms, I know its complimentary but it is by far the worst coffee we ever tried to drink By all means if you need help choosing a new one please contact me.

We reserved a king bed room, when we arrived, staff was great! Greeted with a smile, very friendly! But when we arrived to the room, there was black spots all over the walls, when I pulled the bed runner back, there was mold all over it.. I looked at my wife, and said grab all our stuff, and let’s get out of here. We went back to the front desk, offered a different room, she walked with us to inspect, first sight it was ok. We agreed to stay. We were researching the area, turned on a lamp to read, and the back side of the lamp was smashed in. I looked closer and there was black spots all over these walls too????? I would not recommend this place to anyone..
