“We had a great stay in Alexander Pike’s one bedroom flat in Cowes. The property could not have been situated any better. It was in downtown Cowes on the pedestrian zone. The grocery store and bus stop were directly across the street from the flat. The walk from the ferry was one minute. The apartment was spotless. The appointments were perfect. Everything we could have wanted was provided. We definitely will stay here again when we return to the Isle of Wight.”

“Lovely clean spacious property near the sea with lovely outdoor space. Lots of attention to detail and comfortable property. Thank you Island holiday company for all your help and prompt action. The property smelt a bit damp when we arrived but found a dehumidifier and that really helped. Improved lighting on the inside stair case would help.”

“Lovely place to stay. Although at the end of a garden it felt very separator. Beautiful garden area.,”

“The property is beautifully appointed and in an ideal location for a sea view and a short walk to some great restaurants. Likewise it is a short drive to Gosport with easy access to car parks and cheap foot passenger ferry across to Portsmouth's Gun Wharf Quays complex. The booking process was easy and communication with the hosts chosen agents is excellent - very easy to check in and out by means of a key safe on the outside of the property. The television is a smart tv which asks you to input……

“Walkable for us to many attractions although it would have been nice if some tourist information was included by the host. This could be provided from the Tourist Info booths. The room was not clean enough, much room for improvement there. Broken ornaments, sticky floor, torn material and squeaky stools. Appliances not cleaned properly. The bed was comfortable enough but the duvet was far too heavy. Carpet in the hallways leading to the room was very dirty. The dryer was grinding like crazy……

“It did not satisfy us at all. We left after 4 hours and did not stay the night as we didn’t feel comfortable to. it was a very tiny place compared to the pictures. The toilet seat was yellow, and there was no evidence of the place being cleaned. It was very dusty and the oven had a dirty pan in there. It looked like food had been cooked on it and not washed. There was no cutlery or anything the microwave seemed broken. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows very light. The cover felt like……

“Lovely peaceful location just around the corner from the beach. Small shop, cafes and bar near by, we’d recommend a visit to the ice cream parlour - lots of flavours with vegan and doggy options. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. Check-in was seamless and the host responded quickly to all communications. Only downside was no enclosed outside space for our dogs”

“The room was clean, and a great location in Southsea. A few small issues: the TV stopped working on our last morning, the bath had not been used and the water ran yellow, but the shower was fine. A cloth to do the washing up would have been of use. Overall the room was a great base for our weekend away.”
