Perfection!

Apartment 4 was absolutely perfect! Had everything we needed and more, including a king bed, smart TV, billiard table and a very comfy lounge! This apartment was like a home away from home with all the amenities our family required, was very clean and fully functional. Best location, across from the beach and park and a short stroll to the main stretch of shops - our car never left the underground car park as everything we needed was within walking distance. Cannot wait to come back for another stay!

Good location, but not well maintained apartment

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment was in a good spot, and secure undercover parking but that is the only nice thing I could say. The apartment was not clean, not at all well maintained. There was no soap or body wash in the shower, the towels were very old and tatty. The pool table was broken on 1 side, there was not enough balls for the table and only 1 cue worked. There was no tea towel to dry the dishes. I just felt for the price we paid, it was not at all worth the money. It was disappointing. The apartment also had a lot of stuff everywhere, it was like a dumping ground for the owners. Very untidy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rent this place 2 to 3 times a year. Every time we get there, the apartment is spotless clean. We like the living area as it is big enough to fit a crowd of 6 to 8 people easily without stepping on each other. The beach, the shops, the restaurants are close by. We also enjoyed the numerous walking tracks which offer us some exercise. The beds are very comfortable to give us a restful night sleep. In our last stay, we enjoyed the monthly beachside market where you can find some interesting treasures and nice street food too. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves the beach, good food and like some moments of relaxation. Our thanks also go to the helpful estate agent, Pago and the staff members for their excellent customer service, always trying to please us with our requests.

We always find it clean when we get there. It is at walking distance to the beach, pub, restaurants, grocery stores and other amenities. The apartment is spacious enough to accommodate several people ( maximum 8 ) comfortably without invading each other’s space. We always have a great time when we go to this location. I would go back again next year and would recommend the place to anyone who would like a good beach holiday spot .

Wash or replace the manchester

1. The television in the living room often froze and we couldn’t get sound on it 2. It would be worth clarifying with guests which beds will require linen as we wanted to use the second bedroom with the double bed but was only supplied linen for main room and a single bed. 3. Some of the linen supplied and the towels had stains, the single bed fitted sheet had a spot of what looked like blood so we didn’t use it. 4. The blankets in the apartment really require a thorough wash. One blanket smelt so bad that I vomited and was really put off about the overall cleanliness of the place since that first day. 5. The apartment could do with some top to bottom thorough dusting. 6. I would have expected that paying extra for linen and towels that this would include two bath mats, two hand towels and some face washes. The minimal towels provided were not sufficient for our stay and we were having to reuse wet towels. Especially when there are two bathrooms and yet we were only provided with one hand towel and one bath mat, no face washes. We were provided the exact number of towels for each guests but when the towels appear stained or dirty, it would have been preferable to have extras. 7. For the enjoyment of guests, linen should be already put on the bed and guests not required to remove the linen. This has been our experience whilst staying at other places. 8. Would have been nice to have basic bins provided in each of the bathrooms. 9. The pillows could be replaced or at least the protectors as they looked very old and dirty. 10. Bedrooms and bathrooms get claustrophobic- overall other than the sliding door in the living room, main room and bathrooms lack ventilation or windows to get external fresh air. Poor building design. I tried to provide feedback discretely via the agency but as I didn’t get a response, it’s a shame that I have to do so on such a public forum. Just recommend addressing some of the above to improve the experience of future guests.

Great possition right near the beach and shops

Reviewer Comments: Apartment was awesome, close to beach and shops.Heaps of info on the area.Beds were very comfortable and clean .Bathrooms were spacious .Had a bit of trouble getting to the keys as it was dark and hard to find the key box through road works at the back of store.Had a bit of trouble finding the apartment partially my fault for not reading instructions.Got in only to have trouble finding that the electricity was not on.Not realising that the little green key tag needs to be put into a slot,Not a normal Hotel room Tag. Could of used a sign on the key slot .But still got it working ok after ringing the after hours number.(That number should be displayed on the fridge)

Convenient Location to unwind and escape the rat race

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment is conveniently located within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, supermarkets (Aldi, Coles, Woolwortha). During our stay, we also had to experience the Easter Beach Market on the Esplanade waterfront in Cowes. We also like the underground carpark which accommodates our two cars. It is easy access to activities like bowling, Mini Golf and trips to Nobbies, Penguin Parade, Cowes RSL for playing the Pokies. The wifi was really strong at every part of the apartment which was quite important to our family to stay connected with our friends during the Easter break. We also liked the entertainment package on the Smart TV that offers a variety of shows for all ages. We liked the place and we are going back there again in a not distant future.
