“The hotel is close to the main road with easy access by car. The car parking building is just behind the hotel with the discounted rates provided by hotel. The room is large, clean and comfortable, but the overall conditions are a little dated.”

“Very nice stay for the area. The hotel itself you can tell is old, but has been recently renovated, particularly in the lobby. The dinner at the Brasserie was good but the service was slow, and no attendant was at the reception for the first few minutes when we arrived. Otherwise, it was a good place to rest your head for a night.”

“This place has an air of opulence. The gardens and decor were nicely upscale for us budget travelers. We chose to spend time closer to Shannon airport before our flight after visiting the Dingle area. The leisure center with a pool and sauna were a nice surprise. The breakfast options were excellent. The bar even loaned us a bottle opener when we ordered takeaway beers. I would have liked to have stayed longer to explore the grounds. I liked the quirky details like to all the weird levels and……

“Beautiful older hotel. Excellent staff. The restaurant has great food and a relaxing atmosphere overlooking the river. Walls are pretty thin as you can hear conversations in the halls and adjacent rooms. ”
