“Large room with ample accessories. While the hotel is old the rooms have been nicely renovated. We had a dog and there was a large grassed area available near the front of the hotel to give her some exercise.”

“Had some work to do in the region and this was an excellent motel to stay at. Close to the middle of town that has all the facilities you need for a short stay. Great and helpful staff. I needed a document to be printed which they did without fuss and while I waited. Rooms are a decent size with an extremely comfortable bed. Highly recommended.”

“Access to beach and creek. Beautiful walks and ocean on the doorstep. No boats or jetskis just serenity and family friendly. We were upgraded due to whitegoods breakdown and were absolutely grateful for the surprise upgrade as we list perishables. The ocean cabins are just beautiful and relaxing. The only thing i could fault was not enough serving dishes or bowls. ”

“When we arrived at the property we were not met by the host, which was not a problem. But the property was dirty, untidy and smelled. We got back in the car and left. I phoned the host who didn’t answer the phone so I left a voice message telling her of the unclean and smelly state of the property and that we couldn’t stay there. I also said I wanted a full refund. A little later I received a text message from her in which she apologised for the the property not being up to standard an said……

“Check in fine, if you don't mind looking at your host's big belly through a hole, the size of a football, in his shirt! Host himself appears to be a bit shy and you have to do most of the talking, although the dog is very friendly. Whilst clean and comfortable the motel needs a lot of long overdue maintenance and the noise from the taps in particular are something else. Restaurant is not open at the moment, however breakfast and dinner are available in the rooms. This is the second time we have……

“A peaceful place to stay for three work colleagues. A short energetic walk to the surf beach, local shops and eateries. Beautiful scenery in all directions. An authentic beach house with good amenities rather than a magazine showpiece. It was a lovely place to stay for two weeks.”
