"Overall, this is a very nice hotel within walking distance of Dubrovnik Old Town. The rooms are clean and well maintained. We were made to feel very welcome. The communal areas are spacious and well maintained. The quality of the breakfast could have been better. The swimming pool was extremely cold, not refreshing - cold!"

"We absolutely loved our stay here. From the moment we checked in the whole experience was perfect. The attention to detail from the staff is phenomenal - it far exceeded our expectations. There are so many things that made this stay good. A wonderful knowledgeable and engaging waitress on the local wines, a fantastic experience in the Spa, really good live music and a fantastic view. Definitely recommend!"

"This is a wonderful hotel and we’re surprised how much we liked it. It had a unique history (built 50 years ago under the communist government. It is the brutalist architectural style. The views from our room were phenomenal as was the restaurants and amenities. The room was not as organized as it could have been with little stored for suitcases. Highly recommend"

"Much improved… visited 2022 and was disappointed with the club breakfast, poor food and beverage options there and slightly tired space. This has been revamped and is now worthy of a 5* hotel. Breakfast choices excellent this time in the club, improved quality and options! Proper, fresh orange juice not diluted. The rooms are the same and very clean but starting to feel a little tired so could do with a refresh. Staff friendly and pleasant but communication surrounding pool closures is poor. Lots of closures due to events and there are others but a bit of notice would be good. Concierge not massively helpful or knowledgeable. Felt we knew more about the area and restaurants than they did! Really need to improve recommendations. Also they could do with updating their towels - grey and not fluffy. Last time was unsure if would revisit and visited this time on a whim but would definitely return."
