Also gives direct access to the coastal path for stunning walks along the cliff top to the lighthouse and beyond.
The seaside resort of Cromer has a pier with its small theatre hosting live entertainment (in season), promenade and gardens, beach, cinema, crazy golf, museum, Amazona Zoo and stunning golf course. Carnival week is held the third week of August with lots of fun for all the family. Plenty of independent cafés, bistros and bars to enjoy after all the activities!
A great way of exploring Norfolk’s coastline is the local bus service, ‘the coastal hopper’, which visits towns and villages along the Coast Road. Sheringham is the headquarters of the Poppy line North Norfolk Steam Railway and has other attractions, including a recently refurbished swimming pool/water park, RNLI lifeboat station and museum, cliff top golf course, Sheringham Park (NT) and a town centre with shops, café and restaurants.
Also nearby, visit the RSPB nature and bird reserves at Blakeney Quay, Morston Harbour, Cley next to the Sea and Salthouse. Seal trips regularly sail from Blakeney and Morston.
