Absolutely superb property. Super clean, spacious rooms, beautiful grounds. Lady on reception was friendly and welcoming. Gated entrance after hours so was very safe. Also if you’re lucky you can see a few super cars in the complex !

Friendly welcome and we felt relaxed and comfortable. The only negative is that the units all face each other so keeping the blinds up on a hot day was a bit invasive.

Rooms are well equipped, staff are friendly. However fridge in room is ridiculously loud which makes for a less than peaceful sleep, and the shower sprays out in such fine but high pressure it isn’t pleasant it was like a water blaster.

Very nice employees. Was always willing to help. We accidentally left our rental car head lights on all night and in the morning the battery died. The receptionist not only helped us jumpstart the car but had the patience to help figure out how(we had a hybrid rental none of us knew how). Location of the hotel worked best for us as it was in the middle of everything we wanted to do in the South Island. All in all great stay 10/10

Great option for events at Highlands

I've stayed here a number of times when attending race meetings at Highlands Motorsport Park. It is only a few minutes' walk to the circuit entrance and the units are lovely. They still look and feel like new and have evrything needed. The staff are very helpfula nd friendly too. I had a great surprise this time, I was upgraded to a one-bedroom apartment from a Superior Studio. The extra space was very welcome but I was surprised to find that the combined toilet/shower/washbasin area was tiny and not that practical. I will certainly be booking again the next time I'm coming to Highlands.

Hotel room was very nice, clean and comfortable. However, there was no counter space in the washroom. The lady at the check-in reception was also not very friendly or accommodating. Someone parked in our space and she said there was nothing she could do. Did not like leaving the car overnight on the street since it was the only car left on the street.
