“We went to a show at the Capital Theater and this place was very convenient. Had a nice dinner in walking distance as well. The building is old and kind of gross, but the apartment itself was very nice, modern, and clean.”

“First, Darwin was very responsive and flexible, after a 12 hr drive he was gracious enough to accommodate an early AM check in. Secondly, the location was ideal, close to downtown and grocery store. Lastly, the apartment itself had everything we needed, it was neat and spacious enough for our family. I would definitely recommend.”

“They say a first impression can be your last and our first impression made it very hard to feel at ease in this unit. It looked like a construction zone. Dust was everywhere. They did have a cleaning person come in the next day and also provided air purifiers on request but still... my mom and I got daily headaches and nightly coughing fits. We are convinced in addition to the dust everywhere, there may be mold. We ended up extending our trip for a month. The unit was available but we booked……

“Overall property was good but had two major flaws. Bed was way too small and hard, and couch in living area was not functional and in poor condition. Good proximity to downtown Stamford. Property manager was very attentive. Despite flaws mentioned above (which should be an easy fix) we enjoyed our stay.”

“The neighborhood is really nice and clean with a good variety of stores nearby. We found the subterranean haven to be a great location for unwinding and having small events. The George's are incredibly understanding, patient and flexible. We'd definitely recommend this host to anyone.”

“This is a cozy property in a very rural setting. The host is extremely responsive and very thorough. It is quiet and private. The furniture and bed are very comfortable. The wood burning stove is a pellet stove which provides enough heat to take the edge off. The hot tub could comfortably fit 4 people. The Village of Cold Spring is less than 10 minutes away, as is the Interstate 84 bridge across the Hudson. If you want to make your own food, bring it. There is no grocery store nearby.”
