"Our first time in the Northern Banks / 4WD section of OBX. We are hooked, we’ll definitely be back. We went in the off-season which was quite nice. The property itself is as advertised and very comfortable and spacious, and well appointed. The owner was extremely responsive and a breeze to deal with. I thought it was very good value for the money and appropriately priced. Highly recommend but hopefully YOU don’t book MY Thanksgiving holiday next year! :)"

"Perfect location on the 4x4 beach! Saw so many wild horses and the house had everything we needed! Gorgeous view and easy walk to the beach! Property owner was quick to respond and very knowledgeable about the area and the 4x4 beach (we were 1st timers). Would highly recommend!"

"Very spacious and each room had door to the porch which was great. The screen porch on the side was perfect to get away from the cool breeze but still able to view the ocean. The location was perfect with a great view of the ocean and area. We were able to watch the horses from the deck and even in the pool. Check in and out was very easy and hosts were great. "

"We had a great vacation at this house. The house is spacious, comfortable, felt clean and well-maintained. The proximity to the beach, and the views of the beach from the house were phenomenal. We also saw horses right outside the house almost every day. We enjoyed playing the board games and doing the puzzles as a family every night. Communication with the host was also good. The downsides to the house for us were that the beds were small, the water pressure in the shower was weak, there were a lot of ants in the kitchen (we had to use ant spray and ant traps and keep all our food sealed up carefully), and the WiFi buffered a lot at night. But for us, these things were outweighed by the excellent location, fair price, amazing views, and spaciousness of the house. We would definitely stay here again! "

"Fantastic location for easy access to the beach. Worked really well for little kids- a minute walk to the waves at most. House was set up well - bedrooms and bathrooms made it easy for grandparents and 2 other families with young children. Wide open living room/ kitchen made it easy to gather. Pantry was full of spices, olive oil, vinegar, and paper products- saran, foil, ziplock bags, etc. Pool and hot tub were nice, but used very little by us be because the ocean water was perfect. 4x4 area was awesome because we could drive our trucks on the beach with chairs, umbrellas etc., and didn’t have to carry everything back and forth. "
