"The house was perfect with plenty of room for our 3 families of 10. Plenty of deck and chairs for everyone to hang out in the evenings after being at the beach all day. It was super easy just being able to keep all of our beach stuff in the truck each night for the short drive to the beach. The house is very close to the beach making it very easy walk back to grab a snack or a drink."

"Wow, what a great place to vacation, IF you like the beach, sand, wind. You have to have a 4 wd vehicle to get here. If you are into nightlife and restaurants don’t go here, they are 20-30 minutes away and you have to drive on the sand to get there. Greatest beach vacation we have ever had, 3 generations of family, plenty of room, great views, great surf fishing. Bring a tent or cover for the beach, bring a truck, have a great time. Bring lots of beer, water and food!!"

"My family and I had such a great stay at this home in the 4x4 section of Corolla. The house was roomy and the decks were a great place to relax. We enjoyed both walking and driving onto the beach. Seeing the wild horses was amazing too! The hosts were super friendly and communicated very efficiently. We highly recommend this property when visiting OBX."

"The property was amazing. Secluded by right on the beach. The space is well thought out and the small items in the kitchen made the place feel like home. Host is responsive and no real issues with the property but you definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to reach it."

"Overall the rental was great. There were some things about it which caused some minor inconveniences but after communicating with the host, these issues were resolved. The overall cleanliness needs help. Under beds and on top of surfaces need dusted. We stayed here in 2024 and at that time it seemed to be in overall better shape than this trip. Still an excellent vacation and the location of this listing can’t be beat."

"We really enjoyed our stay! The location was fantastic, being on the 4x4 beach was such a unique experience, and seeing the wild horses was definitely a highlight. The home's proximity to the beach made it easy to relax and enjoy the ocean throughout our trip.We did experience a couple of minor maintenance issues. The house tended to get a bit cold since we weren't able to adjust the air conditioning, and we noticed a few leaks that appeared to be related to the HVAC system. The owner was very responsive when we reached out about both issues, which we appreciated. While they didn't take away from our overall experience, they're worth mentioning for future guests.Overall, this was a great place to stay, and we'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation in the 4x4 area."
