"I cannot say enough about the location and the overall amenities that the home has to offer. We saw wild horses nearly every day and the beach could be seen from the sprawling decks. The kitchen was fairly well appointed with cooking necessities, etc. as well. However, there were a few things that could easily have been improved, and the property would be five star all day long. The items, while minor, just added up. There were not any starter rolls of paper supplies, for example, when we arrived. This caused us to unpack quickly following an eleven hour drive to get there. Additionally, the clean sheets were laying on each bed, and we needed to make each one upon arrival as well as unload the dishwasher, which was full of dishes. The fireplace did not work properly. The property owner was responsive and maintenance changed the propane tank and ordered a regulator, but it was not operational during our week. The pool was cleaned the day after we arrived. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the theater room after flying kites on the beach and enjoying all of the activities around. The vacation gave us the true tranquility we were looking for bringing family and friends together. Definitely a five star if some of these minor things were resolved. Definitely recommend overall."

"The host was very responsive and helped with information. The rental was clean, a little dated, but overall acceptable. There was so much room for people to spread out. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked wonderful. The lid was off when we arrived so we left it that way, not knowing if they had done that for a reason. "

The beach itself is beautiful—lots of sun, soft sand, and plenty of shells to discover every morning.(The most conches this year!)The entire atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, perfect for getting away from it all. We especially love having both the pool and hot tub, which make the stay even more enjoyable. There’s always plenty of beach to go around, and it's never crowded.We look forward to coming back again next year—this place never disappoints!"

"Well appointed if well-used house. Lots of room to spread out, and the elevator was a plus to accommodate an elderly family member. Fairly well-appointed kitchen with a very fast ice-maker comfortable beds, and multiple spaces for dining and games. We loved that a big table sat 12 of us for meals. Definitely requires 4-wheel drive, but the location is superb with beautiful views of the ocean and dunes. "
