My wife and I had the breakfast and dinner package and everything tasted amazing. The pool and lamdscaping areas were gorgeous. Our only issue was that the room and bathroom need to be updated. The shower we had was extremely tiny and narrow. There wasnt ventilation in the bathroom area either. The room did not have sufficient electrical outlets and had no usb ports. The room was extremely bright. Thankfully they sent someone to cover the window which made the brightness not so bad but you would think it is morning in the room even when it is nightime. The staff were friendly and helpful. Also dinner was too late (7:00 pm).

The staff were great and attentive. The location is nice. There was only one hiccup. I massaged the hotel a few days before my trip to set up airport transfer, as it shows on Expedia that they offer airport shuttle. When we arrived in Tobago, we looked around about 20-25 minutes for the airport shuttle but did not see anything from our hotel. When I called the hotel multiple times and the phone would ring but there was no answer. It seems to be a reoccurring theme in Trinidad & Tobago, as this happened in the city as well.

Stayed at the Tropikist Beach Hotel for two nights and really enjoyed the beach side view. The staff were very friendly, room was clean, and location is excellent. We didn't really enjoy the dinner menu at the hotel, and it was expensive for what you get, but the breakfast was good. The bar and pools are nice, and was nice to be on the beach and listen to the waves. I would definitely stay again, and would recommend it to others. I do wish the hotel would review their lineup of taxi drivers, and have better vehicles on call. We had a very old rusty van pick us up which was a bit concerning, but the taxi isn't part of the hotel.

This was my wife’s first time visiting Tobago, and she wasn’t quite sure what to expect; but this resort absolutely surpassed all possible expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were phenomenal, friendly, professional, and incredibly accommodating. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. And while we didn't need anything, the manager would check in periodically throughout to ensure all was well (This meant a lot to us). The room was comfortable and well-maintained. As long as you follow the simple instructions provided (like keeping the AC on and within the recommended range), there are no issues with condensation or humidity. The food was fantastic! You can tell the resort adjusts meal options based on guest numbers. For example, sometimes offering a buffet and other times menu service; but the quality and flavors were consistently excellent. In terms of location, it’s ideal. Pigeon Point is very accessible, a quick 5-minute taxi ride or a pleasant 30-minute walk back if you’re feeling up for it (Locals knew not to trouble tourists and were not pushy). Overall, this resort is a hidden gem and a great alternative to the big-name hotels in the area. I honestly believe that within the next couple of years, it will become the go-to destination in Tobago for anyone looking for exceptional value without compromising on comfort or service. I fully intend to return and make this my regular spot whenever I’m in Tobago. Highly recommended!
