“This is one of our favorite places to stay anywhere in the US. Lovely inn! Each room has its own individual charm as no two rooms are alike. A bonus is the great continental breakfast! Make detours to Marblehead every time we come to Boston just so we can include a stay here.”

“TMH, a boutique hotel, has delicious fresh fruit cups at breakfast along with yogurt, cereal, and baked goods. Simple, yet something for everyone. The high ceilings added to the experience, as did the friendly staff. ”

“Beautiful hotel. Very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room did not have a small fridge. I just put our snacks and drinks in a small cooler of ice. I highly recommend.”

“Obviously i booked this place because of the specialty room but it ended up being so much better than that! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Tons of parking. The room was way bigger than i expected and it had one of those bigger deep tubs. It was actually more than we needed. What a great experience. We'll be back.”

“The location is amazing. The Counter had good food. Very helpful and nice staff. Very clean. The bed was not comfortable at all for either of us and the heat did not work in our room so it got pretty cold. No mini fridge or microwave in the room. Overall a great stay!”

“Everything was great. The room was impeccably clean, but we were missing face cloths, the lights above the beds didn't work (needed new lightbulbs maybe?), and the TV remote was missing. It was late at night when we discovered these things so no one was there to call and it certainly wasn't an emergency. Nothing we couldn't live without but just wanted you to know for the next guests. Breakfast was excellent as usual and we had fun visiting the Cellar Bar for the first time. Lovely! We always……

“The room was great- exactly as described. The gentleman owner was kind - lived on the premises and spent a lot of our stay mowing the lawn and working in the gardens. Would be a bit uncomfortable for femme people traveling alone, but a good set up for people looking for conversation or company. ”

“The house is decorated very nicely, and was very clean. The bed was comfortable too. Had to check out early for a meeting, but wished we could have stayed longer. Maybe next time:)”

“Only 3 forks and knives and 2 spoons for eating when 4 people could be staying there. Only 2 of us so was ok. Parking was right in front of our door.”
