“Property is old and units need updated. Staff is very poor at communicating and do not want to help guest. They are hateful and rude. The concierge staff is not helpful at all and the Ocean 362 restaurant is poorly staffed. You will find the concierge is the bar tender. The owners need to get better staff! We will not stay here again! Not worth the money.”

“Super friendly place in a great location. You can borrow beach chairs, coolers, beach bags, floats..Our rooms had tons of storage. We did not eat breakfast there as it opens at 8:30 and we were on the road by then. Rum punch every night was a nice touch! I will definitely stay there again. ”

“Amazing, affordable place to stay on St. John. About a 7 min walk from the ferry terminal. They have a lovely creole style restaurant & bar serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms have AC!!! All the staff was extremely helpful and kind. They also have snorkel & beach gear you can borrow free of charge. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you!”

“My wife and I had an amazing stay at the Cruz boutique hotel. It’s located in a great spot with many things nearby, the staff were very helpful and generous. They offered beach chairs and towels and ice, they housekeepers went by everyday in the morning. And the staff gave great recommendation for parking, restaurants and beaches. Definitely will be back and staying with them again. 10/10”

“Very friendly hosts, Angelica and Ben, and exactly as described online. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a self service laundry room and an honor bar if u need a water or a beer or sunscreen. Wi-Fi was great averaging about 60 mbps. The kitchenette worked great, even had an oven and microwave. There are free flippers and snorkeling gear and you can switch out your beach towels yourself. Walking to the market took about 20 minutes, and about 15 minutes to town the……

“My wife and I stayed at 'Villa Poinciana' at The Hills for five nights for our 10th anniversary. The Hills location is far enough off the beaten path that there was not much noise or vehicle traffic in our area, yet close enough to be very convenient to get into Cruz Bay via a quick taxi ride of about five minutes. Though not far from town, I would not advise walking into Cruz Bay from this location, as the roads are quite steep with little room on either side of the road for foot traffic in……

“Perfect place to stay! You can easily catch a cab to get home, but steep walk to town is fine. Amazing host and very accommodating and easy to communicate with. They let us drop our bags before check in! Clean space, and AC works great. Lovely outside deck with a table to enjoy the outdoors- even saw hummingbirds! The water pressure is great, but only hot for a few minutes, but expected on an island. Would stay again!”

“Great property. Had everything we needed. And the market was next door so this was a great location, convenient to groceries as well as restaurants. It was also a short walk to the taxis if we wanted to go to the beaches or other places around the island.”

“This listing should be 'studio', not one bedroom. The only separated room is the bathroom. We could not enter the property for 30 minutes (after a long day of travel) due to a door malfunction. They eventually had to send a handyman. The refrigerator did not work-probably needs coolant. Lacking in some basics: only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 2 people for a week, no salt and pepper etc. The tv would frequently not connect to wifi-I had to manually go in and set each time we tried to……
