Just home from a overnight stay here. 4 double rooms was booked and couldn't of been happier. Was greatest by a very friendly girl who explained everything we needed to know. We unpacked and got changed after a long day motorcycling. Headed down for food which was outstanding complete with desert. After we went into the bar for a few games of pool and drinks. All the staff and locals was super friendly. The rooms complete with tea/coffee facilities freeview tv double bed shower over bath. 👌 great night's sleep for all. Breakfast in the morning was perfect just the right size complete with help your self cereals and juice. Full English with toast included with your stay. We paid £70 per room and was worth every penny. Thank you and as 4 bikers we felt very welcomed and will certainly use again.

A very relaxing stay

Friendly staff, room was really nice and the bed was so very comfortable, location is great and its quiet and peaceful, we would definitely stay here again

Basic accommodation but everything that was needed. Comfortable twin beds, nice and firm. Bathroom was adequate but without a toilet lid there was no place to put toiletries so a small shelf or table would have been good. Overall, very good value for money. Nice full length mirror. Somewhere cosy to store our bikes (laundry room) and great curry for our evening meal. Were there hooks behind the bathroom door? These are always useful. Another suggestion would be an extra towel rail please for the 2nd person's towel to dry. One thing I would like to suggest to all hoteliers is different coloured towels for each person! Difficult to know whose is whose when they are all white. Just a thought .... Overall, a very satisfactory stay and an added bonus - right on the National Cycle Route. What a find!! Last time we stayed at Llangwair Manor. Beautiful grounds but no evening food and your breakfast was superior. Thank you very much!

Outstanding venue

Cracking overnight stay at the very welcoming and friendly Salutation. Home cooked food was a highlight. Sunset walk along the river bank is a must.

Comfortable night away

The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly. We ate dinner and breakfast, both of which were good and served quickly. This was real value for money and we would recommend this small hotel to other users
