"We arrived early, and the receptionist was incredibly warm and helpful. We were greeted with a welcome drink, offered an early check-in and a room upgrade for a small, reasonable fee. What a great start!
The room was spotless and cozy, with both a shower and bathtub, hot water, complete toiletries, and a super comfy bed with soft pillows. The AC worked perfectly.
As soon as we arrived, two staff members came out to the road, greeted us, took our luggage, and made us feel truly special — it felt like they were waiting just for us!
Check-in and check-out were smooth. We asked if we could store our luggage for four days (even though we weren’t returning to stay), and they agreed with zero hesitation. They even invited us back for a free drink when we return — amazing!
Breakfast was impressive: a wide variety of continental and authentic Vietnamese dishes, a live counter, fresh food, and friendly service.
Location is top-notch — near the lake and in the heart of the Old Quarter, with everything walkable. For the price, this hotel delivered beyond expectations. Truly a royal experience!

"The Five Suites Lilas Hanoi was an absolute standout. From the moment I arrived, everything felt calm, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. The suites are spacious, spotless, and beautifully styled with a perfect balance of modern comfort and boutique charm. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room felt like a quiet sanctuary after a busy day in Hanoi.
What truly sets this place apart is the service. The staff are genuinely warm, attentive, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome without ever being intrusive. Every interaction felt sincere and professional, and their local recommendations were spot-on.
The location is ideal—peaceful and refined, yet still close enough to easily explore the city. It’s the perfect place if you want to experience Hanoi while also having a relaxing, high-end retreat to come back to.
I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend The Five Suites Lilas Hanoi to anyone looking for comfort, style, and exceptional hospitality."
