“If you’re looking for a vacation to take you out of the rat race and just clear your mind. This cozy cabin is the place to go. It is 30 minutes from the main highway so plan accordingly with food and such, but once you’re there, there is no reason to leave. Great experience and the host was very informative. Looking forward to next time.”

“This is the second time we have stayed here and once again, it was great. This property very well appointed and well maintained. It is a short walk to Main St. La Veta, which is very nice. “Everything was great. The cabin is in a great location, and you have access to a variety of parks, trails, etc. The cabin is clean and extremely well organized. We got hit by a mid-March snowstorm and got snowed in for a day, and Krista went out of her way to get us plowed out and provide information. Great overall experience and highly recommended!”

The inside had a big kitchen for the wives. The rooms have tons of board games for the kids. You will love this place; I know we did.”

There wasn’t a single thing Wendy missed in accommodating everyone in our family. If we ever had to reach out with any questions they were available immediately. We can’t think of a single thing we disliked. The views were breath taking, the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything imaginable, the towels seemed brand new……
