“I feel that the kitchen and cottage ammentites were sub par to par. Surprised that traveling guests are expected to bring, paper plates, paper towels/ napkins, salt/pepper, toilet paper. For the price of the property, I expected the above items to be provided and I was also surprised to see broken window shades, leaky stained ceilings, rotted wood trim inside and out, remote with a broken back piece, cheap wooden/ wicker furniture. The picture of the cottage we were renting showed……

“Excellent location - clean, quiet, well-kept community. Boat launch was key for us. Pool and beach looked very nice, but we didn't use. The unit is as described and has a nice patio out back that we used every day.”

“While we enjoyed our stay the weather was less than hoped for so we didn't get the full benefit of the pool, hot tub, kayaks and bikes. The little bit of time we got in the pool and hot tub were nice though. The place was as pictured and advertised.”

The sheets and pillows had blood on them and looked like they had not been washed, there was a lot of dust and floors were not vacuumed properly. The bathrooms had hair on the walls. This resulted in us having to sleep on top of blankets we brought with us. ”

“Overall, while the location is great and the host was responsive, the condition of the rental was a major letdown. For the price and the advertised quality, I expected much better. The lack of a thorough cleaning, in particular, was disappointing and not justifiable given the cleaning fees charged. “This community is great, especially if you have kids that need a lot of activity to be entertained. The place itself was clean and had lots of towels and blankets which is nice. The kitchen has a nice set of utensils, pots and pans as well as dishes. Be sure to bring coffee pods, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I would recommend bringing your own hair dryer that one is slow. We had a wonderful time and would go back. Last thing to not is the driveway is tiny and a rental car that is anything……
