「We stayed for one night, also having dinner and breakfast. The room was lovely and clean, the dinner and breakfast were both freshly cooked and delicious. It was great to see the bar /restaurant buzzing with locals and others staying there. Staff were really helpful. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay and located well for exploring. 」

「Lovely stop on the way to Cornwall. Gorgeously comfortable bed and linen. We arrived exhausted from a long transatlantic flight with 2 cats and the owner was so kind to us. She saved our bacon as we honestly could not have driven further! Superb breakfast and we will definitely return 💜」

「The key was collected from the shop serving the petrol station which I didn’t know at the time. There is a Greggs and Subway which is very handy for food etc. also the garage station is a Londis which sells items as well. The actual rooms are located behind the building of Greggs and Subway hidden away from the main public area and road. My room was clean and the bathroom was clean and functional. Unfortunately the Roman blinds at the windows you couldn’t open and close which doesn’t...

「Staff uniforms were filthy and the floors were covered in food. Owner didn't greet with a smile nor was very friendly. There were broken ornaments on display. Shower door was broken and didn't close properly and the shower itself was a dribble of water. Im glad it was onky for one night!」

「A very welcoming greeting upon arrival. The room was lovely and clean with plenty of storage space. The breakfast was very good and certainly set you up for the day. I didn’t eat in the pub for an evening meal, but it was a very quaint country pub, full of atmosphere. The menu choices looked very good, and if the breakfast was anything to go by I’m sure the meals would be very good too. Highly recommend the old inn.」

「Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun.」

「Kleine, aber vollkommen ausreichende Unterkunft für ein paar Tage. Das Frühstück musste am Vortag bestellt werden und wurde dann morgens pünktlich frisch zubereitet, super Auswahl mit English Breakfast, Porridge, etc.」
