“Host left fresh fruit from the family farm which was great ! House was very clean and equipt . Very hospitial with toiletries , towels ect. Beds could be more comfortable, people with bad backs will suffer. Other then the beds the property was perfect. My fịance had a visit from a humming bird. We really enjoyed our stay. ”

“I loved this charming farmhouse. The kids had a wonderful time despite not having Internet. loved the yard. my husband went out on the boat. It was a little hard to row with all the algae, but he said it was good exercise. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Charming home. You can feel the history in the house and on the entire property. Sitting on the porch in the evening and just watching the fireflies come out, the deer passing through, and hearing the wild turkeys above us, so serene. We spent the days touring Gettysburg and Harpers Ferry taking in all the history and then returned home and we would think about thr history that took place here. If you are looking for a place that is quiet and where you can unwind but still be close to everything……

“Beautiful and spacious property. We used this for our rehearsal dinner, pre-wedding pictures, bridal suite, etc. it had plenty of room for out of town family and friends. The kids appreciated the outside area and game room. The upstairs rooms were a little warm at night, could use a few fans! Plenty of space and utensils in kitchen. Enough towels and blankets. Great location on the river! Elvin is responsive and kind. The Clark Family appreciates you letting us use your wonderful home! ”

We took full advantage of the fully equiped home and and kitchen and never left after our arrival as we ate meals in the garden and dinner in the dining room. The beds are so comfortable and the sheets were top quality. We enjoyed the weekend so much we are booking for next year.”
