"Service is second to none! I've never had a more pleasant stay at any hotel than I did at the Avila Beach Hotel.
The two private beaches (lagoons, technically) were perfect for the size and location of the property, and seemed ideal to accommodate the number of guests on-site. The rocks formed a natural barrier against choppier ocean waves and the inlets were just enough to keep the waters calm yet active enough to avoid stagnation. Tiny fish, a crab or two and a couple iguanas can be seen running about, but never invasive. Each lagoon feels like a real oasis.
The staff are more than pleasant, and their politeness never felt performative or coerced. Shout out to Claude for being such an attentive staff member.
The location is quite accessible, but still felt quaint and certainly safe. I'd recommend booking a package that includes flights, the stay at Avila Beach, as well as transportation to and from the hotel. I'm definitely returning next year; I won't consider staying anywhere else."
