“The rooms are small! Hotel is extremely overpriced. The mattress is thin, pillows small and the cover was really thin. There is no mirror and the ceiling leaks when AC is on. The balcony is a joke. Pool area closes at 6pm. The employees at the restaurant pool area are rude and standoffish. They only cater to those who look like them. I am confused as to how this hotel has so many good reviews. The only good thing about this hotel is the area. Shaniya who works at the front desk was really nice……

“I loved my stay at Elements. The staff was very helpful and knowledge about the area and it’s centrally located. The only complaint I have is that the carpets in the hallways need a deep cleaning, they are heavy with stains.”

“I had an enjoyable stay at the Boho Bohemian located in Pietermaai. Very friendly staff. I was given a room with a balcony. The hotel is managed by the same folks who own the much larger Hotel Kloster located two short blocks away. There is no on-site front desk staff at the Boho, so you must either call or walk to the Kloster for requests. Some of the room technology was not working -wifi, television - at the Boho, so I had to make calls, Zoom meetings and use my computer in the meeting……

“The Hotel is near a group of restaurants that play loud music at night. So if you want to sleep prior to midnight then this place is not for you. No TV channels to watch or a hairdryer to use.”

“My partner and I stayed last year in April at this Resort and we loved it. This year, it lacked customer service. We were very disappointed and we don’t think we will be returning. To make things clear, the resort grounds are beautiful but the stay also depends on the staff which makes it worth the vacation stay. They assigned us a room on the first floor which was very noisy due to foot traffic. Doors were slamming loudly early in the morning and throughout the day. House cleaning rolling carts……

“Wij hebben echt een fijne tijd gehad. Het personeel is echt heel erg vriendelijk En waren erg leuk met mijn dochter. Zwembad is niet groot, maar omdat het hotel rustig was hadden wij daar geen last van. Bedden liggen top en de airco doet zijn werk. Er zijn geen telefoons op de kamer maar je kan rechtstreeks whatsappen met de hotelmanager. Wij komen hier zeker weten terug. Als ik dan 1 minpunt moet geven. Omdat wij dichtbij de receptie zaten en je telkens aan moet bellen als je het terrein op……

“This is my honest review for this hotel. Communication was excellent through Expedia’s messaging system, and WhatsApp. They were very helpful leading up to and upon our arrival. Overall, the staff was fine. Some of the staff members were a little bit aloof, and not that helpful, and some of them were very helpful. The staff is very young and I think lacking in customer service training in some cases. We paid for their nicest suite, which includes what was supposed to be a private terrace.……
