「Perfect weekend getaway - staycation. If what you are looking for is an all amenities, active, accessible, stay- this is not for you. If what you want is a quiet, peaceful, nature, serenity feel- then this is it! Keep in mind that they are under renovation, but other than that it was perfect. Juan, the property manager was great to communicate with! He was very transparent about the renovations, etc., but accommodated us also given that I made the reservation the night before. 「We appreciated the affordable stay in cabins overlooking the canyon. An easy 90 minute hike along the rim got us to the park with more views. As well, a 5 min walk a paragliding location.
For those without vehicles, we could access public transportation to Aratoca then hire a taxi. Enrique arranged a ride back to the highway where we waved down a bus.
