“I’ve booked two standard for a trip in April 26. On arrival, we were given a family room and informed that that was the last room they had available.
Entry into the room electrics in did not work it was cold with one bed settee prepared and a double bed.
Upon complaint and insistence that our original booking was two standard. And given our health condition that’s the reason we chose the option after a healthy discussion and pointing out our health needs. An indicating that “Grand” should……

“Although we almost turned around upon walking down the block towards the guest house, I am glad we stayed there. Paul, the custodian, was charming and helpful, the facilities were adequate, and access to food make a simple breakfast was nice, but every room should have a fan. We appreciated the price, but will not stay there again.”

“Good location for the city centre shops, bars food outlets with 20 minutes walk to railway station.
No breakfast. Bedroom décor functional, bed comfortable but a surprisingly modern bathroom with good shower.
Reception on 3rd floor but lift out of order. Access to rooms/reception via stairs from a door separate from hotel entrance. No electronic security at the door so anyone could enter the hotel and potentially access bedroom on floors 1 and 2 at any time.
Check before booking especially if a……

There was pink staining on the shower floor and the only chair had a broken spindle on the back - when I went to move it, the top rail separated entirely from the remaining spindles and I had to pop it back……
