Never Again!!! Horrible Neighborhood Uncooperative Host
I have never given VRBO bad review; always exceeded expectations until now.
Good news - unit is exactly photos & it’s lovely inside!
Bad news: Neighborhood is very sketchy My Uber driver didn’t want to let me out alone. When the reference says “gated“ that means breezeways to each building have iron mess gates like section 8 housing n NYC. There was group of young men hanging outside “gate community”& inside breezeway. I was extremely uncomfortable as a single female.
I contacted host immediately w my issue but it was late due to flight delay so I even looked for a place to go right then @ l11 PM.l. I ended up putting a chair under door!
Next issue NOISE - unit bks up directly to interstate. Sirens all night up-and-down interstate as well as in parking lot! Morning starting rush hr traffic @ 6AM worse than when driving n my car!
I immediately cked out @8 AM nxt morning; when host finally contacted me, I asked for a refund for the next 3 days. They were absolutely uncooperative saying unit is perfectly safe because “gate” on breezeways & 38 cameras surrounding the property” (If you need 38 cameras, there’s a problem.)
STAY FAR AWAY!!
There is nothing to block the noise.
