Almost perfect!

The home itself was great, not exactly what we expected, but great. We thought the rooms were all under one roof, but it turns out, there are 3 separate "homes" if you will, which turned out to be perfect because we all had our own space at the end of the day. We booked this home specifically because it had room to roam and a pool, we had a lot of kids with us. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the pool was green and not functioning which was a total bummer. The other downside was the lack of kitchen tools. There were no baking sheets, no can opener, no kitchen towels, no oven mitts, and limited towels. We made do with other tools, but would be nice to have the kitchen necessities. The rooms, the house, and the bathrooms were great! The property was a bit overgrown, but still very nice. I would recommend this location, especially for large families.

Amazing Property

We took our kids for Spring Break from southern Illinois The location was close enough to enjoy Dallas activities but tucked away in a little country setting with beautiful views wide open space for our kids to run and play with our dogs. The home is truly beautiful.

Good family spot

Our stay was pretty good. The space is great. Plenty of room so we were not cramped. The pool was not working properly at the time, things happen but we still had a good time. The kitchen was very large which was good since we had 12 people. Plenty of plates and bowls and silverware. May want to get a couple things to keep left overs. If you have a large group you should bring a few more of your own towels. Overall it was a great stay.
