“Nice but the carpets are trash”

“This cabin was just what we were looking for! Beautiful views, lots and LOTS of space to run around, easy access to trails and so peaceful. We took the advice of the guide and visited Chet’s Place for dinner and visited the nearby lake. Both were great. My family and I had the most wonderful time and would love to return! 10/10 - would recommend!”

“Took my boys for the weekend to do some fishing and swimming. What a wonderful place. So quiet and peaceful with good fishing. Kids had a blast fishing and swimming and kayaking. Hosts were wonderful. Very friendly and so nice.”

“Our good friends daughter was getting married at the Fern Hall Estate and we did not like the hotel options provided. We couldn’t have had a better weekend. The house is bigger and better than the listing shows. We were a party of 8 adults and a 1 year old and theee was plenty of room for all. The house was furnished beautifully.”

“My husband and I spent the weekend at the Elwood Escape for our wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the set up of the home and we spent a lot of time in the back yard by the fire pit. We took advantage of the hikes and were able to bring our small dog with us. We also loved that one of the restaurants/bar was across the street from the home and were able to walk to the location. Over all we enjoyed this nice quiet escape from the city.”

“Fourteen of us gathered to celebrate Grandma’s 70th and had a fabulous time at Willow’s place. It was nothing fancy but slept us all comfortably and we all loved the fun basement, the backyard, and huge dining table on the porch. So many houses we looked at slept 15+ people but had 6-8 seats around their dining table. Not a problem here! The community was great - we fished everyday and everyone caught something. We did have pool passes for everyone (not just six as other reviews mentioned) but……

“We scheduled this trip for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We brought our 2 dogs and they enjoyed as well. There really isn't much to do so i wouldn't recommend taking small children. It was exactly what we were looking for though, rest and relaxation.”

“Yoel is an amazing host. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a fun and productive weekend with our team. He checked in and made himself available to answer questions. The house is beautiful and well furnished. There are multiple coffee stations and plenty of places to gather. The neighborhood is excellent. We had people driving in from all over the Northeast and Scranton was the perfect central location.”

“Our boys fished the entire day and night away catching and releasing! There was plenty of outddoor space for a family get together. We had great host that answered any question we had. The house is exactlly as shown in pictures. The "cozy sleeping area" is just as much a bedroom as the others. We visit p.a often as i have family there! We have found our new everytime stay! With this home!”

“Security at the entrance was challenging, however, as a single woman, I felt safe because of it. Cabin is Beautiful & Immaculate. Needed more time to become more familiar with the area. The girls (friends since 1st grade) both want to return. I'll be planning our next trip soon & so will my buddies who want to return with their families. Thank you Charles !”

“This was our 4th or 5th year staying at this property, and we again had a great stay. They layout is perfect for a multi-generational group. The massive kitchen table allowed us to eat all meals together, and the multiple levels allowed us to spread out when we needed to. The owner was extremely helpful when we were trying to figure out the fireplace controls, as was the property manager. We definitely recommend!”

“Everything was on point from the booking to leaving. The owner even let us have a late checkout. The place was amazing and the view was beautiful. The house had everything that you needed to cook and you really don’t have to bring anything but food. The rooms were decorated beautiful with all the cabin feel. The owner provided us with a lot of information before we arrived and even during our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to people I know. Hopefully we will get an opportunity to……
