The mattress on the bed was excellent, though the pillows could be better. The interior spaces were full of a huge array of fine antiques. The exterior spaces are under construction or in need of maintenance. Breakfast was a true Southern experience and a good fit if you are planning to bike the Virginia Creeper. The bathrooms are shared among the guests with the exception of the Honeymoon Suite, which is huge. The estate is minutes from the trail and the outfitters who support bikers and hikers.

We had a wonderful time. The inside was absolutely beautiful. We were not lacking for anything. The host and hostesses were very nice and we really did enjoy our stay and slept like babies. The only thing I have a suggestion about is that when you first pull up it does not have any curb appeal which may turn people off. You wouldn't know that it was a bed and breakfast from the outside

Great breakfast and inside of House a working Museum with so many working antiques and antique furniture. Owners are friendly and interesting. A little sad that the yard and deck could use some love.

Millsap-Baker house is a great old house. Never judge a book by its cover - the exterior is showing signs of its age and needs some repairs, cleaning and refurbishing. The interior on the other hand, is tastefully and formally decorated with antiques, with plenty of interesting things to look at. Bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are fully up to today's standards; very clean, with comfortable beds and reliably hot water in the shower. A true bed and breakfast - the host made breakfast for us and provided interesting conversation. I would have appreciated an option for earlier seating times for those of us who like to get out and about early. As advertised there was ample free wine and non-alcoholic beverages, but the free pastries and fruit were past their prime.

The entire place was clean and comfortable. The house was everything we have come to expect from a historic small town B&B. We had a great nights sleep, an excellent breakfast and a long and informative conversation with our host. In world that has fewer and fewer traditional Bed & Breakfast Inns, it was great to find one that was just where we needed it for our travels.

Excellent little place in the country. Very cozy. Extremely easy to check in, plenty of snacks and food and drink as soon as you arrive not just the next morning breakfast. Highly recommend this place. My wife and I will be back here
